Just picked this A.M. went to Plaquemine a 3 hour trek... No A.C. To come back to the market and find half of our Sugar Cane Dug up and also our Rosemary. I can’t Fathom how people think it’s ok to trespass onto private property and not only that dig up our profits roots and All! I’m always glad to help and provide our community with things not always available.. but this is too far!!! Please know if I’m not here I’m gone to get fresh local produce from hardworking local farmers! And we try our best to grow as well things rarely available... would you steal from a farmers crop? Then what’s the difference for me? Reminder.. you are taking from not only me but my children too.. it’s a free world I get it but you didn’t spend years insuring these babies made it the way I did. Also your loss ....it’s not harvest time for cane until after at least the second frost so it was a waste of your effort for cardboard tasting cane and years worth of time on my end to cultivate it. Please be kind . Ask , pay for our efforts. End of rant.
