Bryant University Physician Assistant Student Society. Philanthropy. PA. Fundraising. Community Outreach
The Jim Carney PA Student society is made up of current students of the Bryant University Physician Assistant Program. Our mission is to provide an ongoing environment for students (and future Alums) of the program to correspond, network and engage in fundraising and other charitable pursuits.
Hello there! On Friday, July 28, 2023, the Bryant University PA Program CO2025 will be hosting the ‘Make Tomorrow a Little Sweeter’ Fundraising Gala at the Newport Officers’ Club in Newport, RI! 🍭This year, our goal is to raise $50,000 for a Providence-based nonprofit organization, The Tomorrow Fund.
The Tomorrow Fund stood out to us because of their dedication in easing the financial and emotional burdens faced by families dealing with childhood cancer. Their support extends beyond treatment, also helping with everyday expenses like rent, mortgage, and medical bills, and providing assistance with paid parking and funeral expenses. This organization also hosts free camps for children with cancer as well as their siblings to ensure that they have opportunities to engage in fun activities and build memories together during difficult times.
My classmates and I would like to cordially invite all alumni to join us for an enchanting event inspired by Candy Land! 🍭🍬🍫🍿 This delightful occasion presents an opportunity for you to potentially win one (or even multiple!) charming Raffle Baskets or Prizes, generously contributed by numerous individuals and local businesses. 🎟️🧺 As you indulge in delectable appetizers and Ben&Jerry’s ice cream sundaes (all-you-can-eat too!👀), you can reconnect with fellow attendees and bask in the delightful melodies played on the piano by one of our talented classmates. 🍦🎹 Last but certainly not least, we have prepared a wonderful bar and cocktail hour, where you can savor our signature beverage before boogying it up on the dance floor.🍸🍷🥂🥃🕺🏽💃🏽
I have shared the link to buy tickets below, and please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. Deadline to purchase tickets is Monday, July 17, at Noon.
