2023 was quite the year! I know I haven’t been posting regularly as I used to. I’ve felt a disconnect from myself for a few months… my creativity wasn’t flowing. Social media felt forced. No one ever likes to talk about these things on here, but it’s real life. And I love to be transparent, we are all human after all! We work, create, be a wife, a mother, a friend, etc and sometimes we burn out on both ends. And it’s SO important to take care of yourself. And treat yourself to something that will make you feel ALIVE! For me, it just meant creating more space and boundaries. Learning to take care of me again. It’s not that I gave up photography, or my passion. But this time allowed me to re align with my values, find my vision again for 2024. I made a promise to myself, to be in touch with my creative side again. Through art, dancing, enjoying time with friends etc.
