Attention all Nickajack fathers, grandfathers, uncles, big brothers, and all male role models: Join us Friday, Sept. 6 at 7:00am for a donut with your student, some fun discussion, fellowship with other Nickajack men, and of course giveaways! Due to construction on campus and the resulting lack of parking, the event will be held off-site. Sincere thanks to Life Church just around the corner (4100 King Springs Rd) for hosting us! Students can be dropped off in the carline at school immediately following the event.

Although school was not in session, many volunteers were hard at work throughout the summer months, especially as we headed back to school. Thank you to TJ and Kendra for all their design work for our school! Mackenzie and Ashlyn - welcome to Nickajack and thank you for jumping in to volunteer as you begin your Nickajack journey!

That’s a wrap on August! PTA put in almost 900 volunteer hours this month, and had tons of fun welcoming everyone to school! We look forward to seeing you at our September events!

Calling all lost items! The Lost & Found is already starting to fill up with jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, and lunch boxes. PLEASE look at the album of items to claim your lost items: https://bit.ly/LostandFound24-25
The Lost & Found is located by the bus port/gym hallway. If your student is unable to find/collect the item on their own, please reach out to [email protected] with students name/homeroom for the item to be delivered to classroom. PLEASE remember to label items with a FIRST and LAST name. If it is labeled, we can return it to your student’s classroom.
If you need labels, Nickajack has partnered with Mabels Labels. 20% off all purchases made through campaigns.mabelslabels.com (search for NES) goes back to Nickajack. Check out their “tag mates” designed specifically for clothes, and the small/large rectangle labels are great for water bottles and everything else. Don’t forget to label the lunchbox and all of its contents, too!

The Back the Jack Campaign has officially kicked off for the ‘24-‘25 school year! The planned budget is focused on enhancing Nickajack’s quarterly STEAM days, as well as continuing support for Teacher Grants, Specialist funding, and school technology improvements. Back the Jack TODAY, to help the Nickajack Elementary School Foundation meet its $200,000 goal and to support enhancements to the learning experience at Nickajack!
