As a local family business we attended The Clear The Shelter event as a canine training vendor with a focus on promoting our upcoming community partnership events:

👉 Partnership with Mountain Park Library 📚 Promoting September’s Responsible Dog Ownership through Literacy
👉 Workshops at Mountain Park Library: On Preparing to Adopt A Dog (A Two Part Series)
However, we didn’t attend the event with any intention to adopt/foster a 🐶 dog. So, when Farley walked into the vendor area I was like, I have to meet this big ol’ pup and he was all hugs, paws and drool. He definitely had presence and personality but wasn’t receiving adoption inquiries. What we didn’t know was that Farley was going to have such a huge impression on us!
As the clear the shelter event was coming to an end my family and I, had a brief meeting and decided not to leave without Farley. We are now FOSTERING FARLEY!!
He deserves quiet, rest, energy out, a total reset and the time needed to prepare him to learn without the stress of shelter life. Congratulations to Farley on making it out of the shelter!!!! Now it’s time to prepare you for your furever home. This is just the beginning... A good family match awaits you!

We received a call ☎️ to action a couple of weeks ago!! Mind you these calls always come in the 11th Hour as they were going to surrender Atreus to animal control. However God had other plans for this little one! We are very happy that our company Yankee _K9 was considered as a resource and more importantly we’re able to help! Unfortunately there were telltale signs of neglect as we observed the pup was severely underweight and malnourished. He was also very fearful and didn’t trust any human hands towards him. He refused to walk because he didn’t have the strength to move … Fortunately for him our dog training and love for this little guy has given him a fresh new START and he’s now a member of the BYK9 family!
