Comets are WINNERS! Wrestling took 3rd out of 18 teams @ the Battle of the Bear Tournament & Tennis TOOK ON Meadowcreek; Girls' Singles SWEPT all 3 games, 3-0 & the Doubles won 2-0. Boys played 3 Singles games and WON 2, falling short on the line one! Boys Doubles WON 2-0!!!!

Walker names South Gwinnett grad TJ Anderson head coach Walker did not have to look far to find its new football coach, promoting T.J. Anderson to lead the Wolverines' program.
Our Students are so amazing!
Happy Thanksgiving to all! We are extremely Thankful for our awesome Alumni! As well as all of our individual expirences we each had during our time at South Gwinnett High School!

It truly saddens us to make this post! This week we’ve lost two former Comets far too soon! We honor and send prayers to the family and friends of KJ Knowles and Lorenzo Mitchell both memebers of the Class of 2014!
KJ grew up through the Comet football program where he then went on to excel in a career in modeling. One of his viral photos even made it’s way into Targets Black History Month Clothing Line!
Lorenzo was apart of many teams and clubs during his time at South! Most notably a member of the tennis team! Lorenzo faught the good fight vs Lymphoma for years! God was tired of watching a soilder fight and called our dear friend home!
On behalf of the South Gwinnett Athletic Alumni Foundation we send our condolences to the families!
