Our Triage Department is vital to the success of our Practice. These women are the ‘front line’ for most of our patients and parents. They are the person on the other end of the phone explaining a diagnosis, giving tips and tricks to get your child to take their medicine, or answering your questions about breastfeeding, unexplained fevers, or teething. Many of you have spoken with one, a few, or all of these nurses at some point. Our Triage staff members are trained to gauge the severity of each patient and provide parents and guardians with guidance. Navigating parenthood can be extremely difficult, and sometimes you just don’t know what in the world that rash is or what to do when your child decides to swallow a quarter. Our Triage Department is here to help! We will provide you with reassurance and make sure that your child is taken care of. Our Triage Department also manages medication refill requests, referrals, medical records, and completes a variety of forms. We look forward to answering your questions and helping each of you through this crazy parenting journey!
Highlight: Our Triage Supervisor, Janet, has been with us for more than 35 years! She began working at Snellville Pediatrics as a Certified Medical Assistant fresh out of school. Over the years, Janet worked as a CMA in our Back Office and eventually migrated to Triage where she then became Supervisor. She is a wonderful leader for our Triage Department and has provided dedicated service to our community for more than three decades.
If you need to contact our Triage Department, please call (770) 972-0860. As always, thank you for the opportunity to care for your children! 😃
Happy Father’s Day to all of our Snellville Pediatrics families! Whether you’re a biological father, stepfather, grandfather, adoptive father, foster father, or another form of bonus father, we extend our warmest wishes to each of you! 💚💙💜
Our Billing Department and Business Office play an integral role in the operations of our practice. There’s a ‘whole lotta love’ in this department as they have worked together for 15+ years, some of them for more than 25+ years! Any questions regarding your insurance, billing statement, EOB, claim, or eligibility are directed to this department. These are the women who will lend a helping hand and a listening ear. If you have any questions regarding your insurance, eligibility, or statements, please call (770) 972-0860 to speak with our Business Office 😃
