Thank you for everyone who came out to vote and support our great nation today. And I’m honored by the tremendous support, by those who voted for me, the campaign team, and all the volunteers. As often is the case, it is not about the first race but the next one. And thank you to the Republican Party for their support tonight in reaching out to make sure I’ll be running again in the next cycle. Of course, I’m honored to accept. My congrats to Harold Rogers Congressman who will have my support in improving Eastern and Southern Kentucky in the months to come.
Remember when Dan Rather would sign off the evening news with a single word? "Courage".
Courage is the first of human qualities because as it has been said, it is the quality that guarantees all others. Now more than ever we need courage in Congress.
As your next Congressman, thank you for those who have had the courage to stand with me to make American and Eastern Kentucky great again!
Perhaps President Raegan said it best, "A country without borders is no country at all". We need to get back to the core values of God, Family and Country.
And while it starts at home in Eastern Kentucky, it also requires leadership in Washington DC. As your next Congressman, I need your help to turn things around.

Eastern Kentucky is now the poorest Republican District in the country. Washington D.C. has forgotten us. Time and money are largely interchangeable terms. And yet we have run out of both.

Most of you know me as Kentucky's doctor. As a physician, I have devoted my career to protecting others. And our Eastern Kentucky home needs protection in Washington DC.

We need a Congressman that can bring peace to our nation. A Congressman that can unite our country. Together, we can heal Eastern Kentucky.

I want to thank the Heritage Foundation, Vice President Mike Pence, the Republican Party, and the many Ambassadors for including me in discussions on how to handle our foreign policy crisis.
Kentucky has lost countless jobs to overseas. It’s time Eastern Kentucky went from being number one in poverty to being the number one fastest in growth and prosperity.
As Eastern Kentucky’s next Congressman, I’m working now to bring jobs back to our District.

Breast Cancer Awareness
My mother was an amazing and brilliant woman. Not a day goes by that she doesn’t live on in our hearts, memories, laughter, and every good decision. Breast cancer has taken other family members from us as well. My heart goes out to every woman, mother, child, parent, and spouse who also knows the loss and battle with Breast Cancer. Life is truly precious.
