💚 As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to an end, let's champion understanding and support by erasing the stigma around mental illness and embracing the significance of mental health! 💬 Engaging in open conversations, extending empathy, and standing united through our mental health journeys is crucial. 🤝 Mental health is not just a side note; it profoundly influences our relationships, work, and overall well-being. 🧠 Prioritizing self-care, seeking assistance when needed, and fostering an environment of acceptance and compassion are essential steps forward. Together, let's dismantle barriers and cultivate a world where everyone feels acknowledged, valued, and supported. 💚

The kids wanted to make their teachers something special for the last day of school so they made bracelets with their own special meanings. Sam made a green aventurine and rose quartz bracelet filled with love for Miss Julie and a peaceful labradorite and lepidolite bracelet for Mrs. Feyereisen. Jo made a love and peace filled green aventurine and lepidolite bracelet for Miss Katie, and a bracelet with soft pink rose quartz and lepidolite hearts for Mrs. Formo (one heart for Jo and one for Mrs. Formo). Finally, Nolan’s stones were purely color based, to represent Mrs. Bergeson’s love for Harry Potter, so we chose red jasper, mookaite jasper, green jade, and lapis lazuli to represent the four Hogwart houses and little flashy labradorite hearts. They also attacked like thank you cards. Sam and Jo dictated theirs and signed their names and Nolan wrote his own.

These teachers do amazing things every single day, so a little token of appreciation is the least we can do.

Creating jewelry became my go-to stress reliever. Blending unique stone combinations isn't just a creative outlet—it's where I put my investigative skills to work in a very personal way. Creating lets me dive into my imagination and bring something beautiful to life. Despite adding another responsibility to my plate, I wouldn't trade this journey for anything.

Two great events tomorrow for two amazing causes! I’ll be at the Spring Marketplace at 17805 County Road 6, Plymouth, Minnesota! While there, the are bringing together students and community members to by walking for mental health awareness! The walk starts at 10:30 a.m. at the New Richmond Middle School, New Richmond, Wisconsin.
