This week is Right-of-Way Professionals Week! We're thankful for our dedicated ROW team members who play a critical role in maintaining safe and reliable power for the communities we serve. From clearing vegetation to ensuring our lines are accessible and secure, their efforts help keep the lights on for all of us.

South Kentucky RECC is pleased to announce the winners of its recent Board of Directors elections. Congratulations to the following for being certified by the SKRECC Credentials and Elections committee as newly elected members of SKRECC’s Board of Directors:

• William Allen, Jr- District 4 (Wayne Co)

• Brent Tackett– District 7 (Pulaski/Casey/Lincoln Co)

Our Annual Membership Days start tomorrow...drive through your local SKRECC office to get a free bucket and LED light bulbs. While there you can register for various prizes and cast your vote in the Board of Directors election for the District 4 and 7 board seats. The days are June 11th in the Monticello and Whitley City offices, June 12th in the Jamestown and Albany offices, and June 13th in the Somerset office. Stop by anytime between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time. We’ll see you there!

We have an outage near Hwy 196 in Nancy affecting 685. There is a broken pole due to an auto accident. Crews are on the way and will begin power restoration as soon as the scene is made safe and released for work.

Spreading holiday cheer at the Ronald McDonald House! Some of our amazing SKRECC team members came together to deck the halls and create a festive wonderland at this special place. It warms our hearts to contribute to the joy of families staying here during the holiday season.
