ATTENTION: November 2nd Race Day with a Twist of Fun at THE ROCK Updated to say: Since it is the end of the season and points are finished, Pro Late Model tire will open to include Hoosier 3 with Hoosier 4 option on Right Rear as well as AR 48 & 56 and Crate 21.

On the Schedule for November 2nd-
Regular Class Racing for ALL RACERS in the Following Classes:
Pro Late Model, Modifieds, Super Stock, Mini Stocks sponsored by Normans Mobile Home movers LLC, Hornets, and Crown Vics. The Top 6 starting positions will be determined by Frisbee Toss/Kids Foot Race and chose cone for start. Payout will be as a regular program except classes that have 5 or fewer cars will be reduced.

We will also have a Crew Chiefs Race and top the night off with Enduro Race.

Gates will open early with an earlier start time, which will be determine once we can see how weather is going to be

Glen Hounshell Captures Lonnie Centers Memorial at Richmond Raceway in KDRA Super Stock Series-Season Finale

RICHMOND, KENTUCKY (October 12, 2024)—Glen Hounshell of Paint Lick, Ky. took home the $2,100 payday in the fifth Annual Lonnie Centers Memorial at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Ky. on Saturday October 12, 2024. Hounshell lead the entire feature distance for the $2,000 victory plus an additional $100 for the roof of the car being removed and “topless.” Hounshell became the eighth different winner in nine completed events this season on the KDRA Super Stock Series presented by Todd Steel Buildings.

Series winners this season have included: Jimmy Robinson (Richmond Raceway), Blake Brown (Rockcastle Speedway twice), Andrew Harmon (Mudlick Valley Raceway), Dennis Roberson (Richmond Raceway), Trey Chastain (Rockcastle Speedway), Jason Hall (Mountain Motor Speedway) and Matthew Norman (Rockcastle Speedway) and Glen Hounshell (Richmond Raceway).

In post-race celebrations, Dennis Roberson of Paris, Ky. claimed the $2,000 top prize for being the 2024 inaugural KDRA Super Stock Series Champion. Rounding out the top-five in the final points include Bartley Grant, Joey Funk, T.J. Smith and Matthew King.

This concludes the 2024 racing season for the KDRA Super Stock Series presented by Todd Steel Buildings. The series would like to thank all of the race teams, tracks, and race fans for their support for what has been a great season of dirt track Super Stock racing. The KDRA Super Stock Series would like to congratulate Dennis Roberson on winning the 2024 series championship. The series banquet honoring the top-ten in final points will be on Saturday November 16, 2024 at The Center for Rural Development Ballroom in Somerset, Ky. with times TBA.

Lonnie Centers Memorial at Richmond Raceway KY sets up KDRA Super Stock Series Season Finale on September 21

NANCY, KENTUCKY (September 16, 2024)—The 2024 Season Finale for the KDRA Super Stock Series presented by Todd Steel Buildings will commence on Saturday September 21 during the Fifth Annual running of the Lonnie Centers Memorial. The event pays $2,000-to-win and $150-to-start. The feature race will be 25 laps.

On Saturday September 21 at Richmond Raceway, the pits open at 2:00 pm, the stands open at 4:00 pm and hot laps will be at 6:00 pm. In addition to the KDRA Super Stocks, the Fastrak Racing Series Late Models race for $10,000-to-win in the Seventh Annual Damn Yankees Fifty, plus the Ohio Valley Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association competing for $1,000-to-win. Adult general admission is $25 while adult pit passes are $40. On Friday September 20, the track opens the weekend with the Prelude to the Damn Yankees with a $3,000-to-win event for the Fastrak Racing Series Late Models plus racing in the Modifieds ($1,000-to-win) and $300-to-win in the Crown Vic division.

The format for Richmond Raceway on September 21 will include Rainmaker Race Cars Qualifying, $50 cash to the fastest qualifier, the Mark Black Dash for Cash paying $100 to the winner, Heat Races, B-Mains (if necessary) and the 25-lap feature event. Todd Steel Buildings has posted $100 for Hard Charger at each feature event. Rainmaker Race Cars has also posted a $50 Fast Time Award at each series event. Hoosier Racing Tire has posted a free tire certificate to the highest finishing “Hoosier” driver on all four corners at each series event. Wayne’s Auto Repair has posted a “Hard Luck Award” of $75 per event.

Matthew Norman Claims First KDRA Super Stock Series Victory with Rockcastle Payday

MOUNT VERNON, KENTUCKY (September 7, 2024)—Matthew Norman of Richmond, Ky. took the lead with five laps remaining to claim the $1,500 prize in the KDRA Super Stock Series presented by Todd Steel Buildings-sanctioned event at Rockcastle Speedway on Saturday Night.

Norman drove the Reed’s Home Solutions, Appalachian Beauty School, Norman’s Mobile Home Movers, Norman’s Home Center, Norman’s Properties, Slicker Graphics, The Work’s Contracting and Access Garage Doors-sponsored Eddie Stewart Chassis to his first KDRA Super Stock Series victory. The 37-year-old driver from Richmond, Ky. became the seventh different winner in eight events on the tour.
