Hanna's house is now finished and furnished! I recently had the honor of celebrating Hanna's first birthday in her new casa! It was a wonderful experience. I wanted to do something special to thank everyone who contributed to making this possible. So, I hired a local artist named Hector to paint some Spanish flowers on the wall of the house and include everyone's names in it somehow. He did an amazing job! I was there with Hanna to watch and oversee his progress. It was very exciting!

Thanks to your support, construction on Hanna's new home began Easter Week. We're thrilled to report that the roof is next! Little Hanna, our Miracle Baby, is doing wonderfully. Enjoy her current photo.
We’re just $5,000 away from completing our goal to finish this project! Help us keep the momentum going—$1,600 by April 19th ensures our workers are paid on time. Every contribution brings us closer to giving Hanna the healthy home she deserves.

Our Story
Shari Fitzpatrick, the Founder of Shari’s Berries, is back! After 20 years as the owner/operator of the first successful chocolate covered strawberry retail company in the country, Shari turned to her interests in writing and motivational speaking. Her book Berried in Chocolate, an emotional journey of her successes and mistakes, appeals to anyone with a dream. Berried in Chocolate explains how Shari lost the rights to her trade-marked name (Shari is no longer affiliated with Shari’s Berries) and emphasizes the importance of family and faith as she reveals how God became her best business partner. But, it all began with strawberries.
When she was a little girl, Shari’s father planted a strawberry patch every summer and they quickly became her favorite fruit. Years later, while working as a mortgage broker in Los Angeles, she began making handmade chocolate dipped strawberries for clients. The incredible popularity of these memorable edible gifts soon outpaced the success of her mortgage career.
More recently, copy-cat retailers have taken her original creations and down-graded them to be “machine friendly”. With no regard for taste or aesthetics, machine chocolate covered strawberries are stripped of greenery and must be very firm to with-stand the mechanized “dipping”. Numerous comments from discerning customers, craving the original hand-dipped delectable juicy chocolate covered strawberries, reignited Shari’s passion for providing the best tasting berries possible. No machines, no short cuts.
