Thankfulness Paper Chain | Kids Activity Teach kids to recognize gratitude and be thankful by doing this thankfulness paper chain with them throughout the month of November.
Thank you to all the families and volunteers who came to Gratitude and Crafts with PCCECC. We appreciate our host and event partner, Pulaski Parents as Teachers! We had fun making a gratitude tree, a kindness paper chain and a thankfulness jar. We built with blocks, acted out emotions at the fishing pond, read books, played with sensory bins and built with magnatiles. And we awarded two bicycles to the most recent readers of 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, a program at the Children's Library. Way to go girls!
Join us this morning and play! 10 - noon. Come to the north entrance of the Pulaski Board of Education and drive down the hill to park. A gratitude tree, a fishing pond, sensory bins, blocks, a kindness chain, and more!

Beginning on October 24, 2022, child care employees became eligible to have all household income excluded from their Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) case as long as they meet ALL technical eligibility requirements and have verified they work in a licensed or certified child care program.
The Employee Child Care Assistance Partnership (ECCAP), which began accepting applications in April 2023, allows employers to contribute towards an employee’s child care cost and have the state match the contribution up to 100%. Child care employees are not currently eligible for ECCAP.
Providers should encourage their staff to apply for CCAP, not ECCAP. When a child care employee applies for ECCAP, they are delaying the opportunity for the family and the provider to potentially receive valuable resources from CCAP. Please advise child care employees to apply for CCAP online at kynect.ky.gov, by calling 855-306-8959, or by visiting a DCBS Family Support office.
Thank you for all you do to support Kentucky's children and families!

Unwind at bedtime. As your child lies down at night, draw a letter on their back with your finger. Repeat the letter again. Your child is learning about letters through their senses. Give clues if it's hard. "It's the letter your name begins with." Guessing games like this let your child build connections between how letters look & feel. Keep it up, brain-builder. You're helping your child learn! 🧠🛌🤛👏
