At CHA, we believe Juneteenth is not only a celebration of freedom, but also one of justice, equity and access. This observance is an opportunity to boldly acknowledge the millions of Black lives lost due to prejudice, bigotry and hate; to recognize our oneness and humanity; and to intentionally take the necessary steps to drive positive change to break cycles of oppression.
