Nunn Better Farm and Construction is deeply saddened by the loss of a future promising little construction worker/ home builder. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave and Ashley Allen and their families during this difficult time. Last Wednesday their little boy fell into a pool and after a few days he was classified as brain dead. Vinny went on to save lives for others because of his parents remarkable decision to donate his organs.
It is important that we along with the Allen family help to spread awareness about ISR (infant self rescue) swim lessons. Drowning is the #1 killer of children ages 1-4. The time is now to work towards changing this and we hope to do our part by spreading awareness and telling little Vinny’s story. Also, we would like to encourage everyone to have the talk about organ donation and sign your driver license. Although Dave and Ashley are going through the unimaginable they are also saving another parent from having to endure the same pain. Have the talk, take the swim lessons, never take a moment for granted.
Please keep our dear friends in your thoughts and prayers as parents ourselves we can’t even imagine the pain they are suffering, please pray.
