Hello everyone! We're back with another post in the Meet Your Teacher series, featuring our terrific tapping teacher Lane! She is a married mama of three wonderful children. She danced for thirteen years throughout her youth and has always loved the art. She rediscovered her passion for dancing in 2022 when her daughter began taking dance classes at Balance Movement Center, and she started tapping again. She is a creative soul at heart and is thrilled to start her journey as a Tap instructor here at BMC! ❤️

Check out these awesome pictures of our students working together on stunts in our new Stunts/Partnering class! This class focuses on combining tumbling and stunts to enhance student performance, and they also learn to work in pairs, trios, or groups to do different tricks!

We're thrilled to introduce another exceptional teacher in our series - meet our incredible teacher Jenny! She is thrilled to be back dancing at Balance Movement Center! She took a hiatus from teaching dance to go to law school, start a career in healthcare contracting, and raise two awesome daughters! She brings 13 years of teaching experience (Zumba, Hip-Hop, Jazz Funk, and Musical Theater) and was a professional cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders (Raiderette). She graduated from U.C.L.A. where she studied dance at the university’s World Arts and Cultures Center. The highlight of her dance career was appearing on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand 1999 New Years Eve special with artists such as: The Back Street Boys, Monica, and Chicago. This dance season you can catch Jenny teaching Zumba, Hip-Hop, and Mommy&Me!

Our 2024-2025 dance season kicks off next week on Tuesday, September 3rd. You can register online and send us a message with any questions you have. We're thrilled to begin the season! 🙌

Welcome back to the series where we introduce and get to know each one of the wonderful teachers here at BMC! Meet Miss Melody! She is a talented and passionate dancer, known for her grace and dedication to the art of dance. Her journey began at the age of 4 when she stepped into Randi Murrays Dance Studio for the first time. Little did she know that this would mark the beginning of a remarkable love for dance. For the past 14 years, Melody has immersed herself in the world of dance, learning various styles, including Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Hiphop, and Tap. Throughout her life, Melody has showcased her talents in numerous performances, competitions, and recitals. You can catch her teaching on Mondays and Saturdays this year! 🤗🩷💃

First post of the series . Meet Mrs. Victoria! She is the owner and a teacher here at BMC! She found her passion for dancing at a young age and started teaching when she was 13. She has trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Tumbling. She taught, directed, and trained in various facilities, and danced on the San Diego Gulls Dance Team, Las Vegas Gladiators dance team, and as a Coyote Ugly Las Vegas dancer! Victoria had the privilege of performing with celebrities such as Bubba Sparx, Moonshine Bandits, Denmark's the Loft, and Canadian's Suzie McNeil! She is eager to bring what she has learned on her journey to the area and help as many people as she can evolve as dancers and as healthy people. 🩷🩷🩷

We have some pretty amazing teachers this season! Two of them are new additions to our team, and we're so excited to have them join us! Individual "meet your teachers" posts are coming your way so you can get to know them! Stay tuned! 🤗🩷💃 💜💜💜
