Sunday’s pizza fundraiser for Jenny was a HUGE success thanks to our incredible customers, staff, and community members! We sold over 250 pizzas, and in combination with direct donations made during the event, we were able to raise almost $4000 in donations to Jenny and her family to help with medical expenses!

We would like to give a GIANT shoutout to a few local businesses who helped out in a big way. Zac at Local Collective kept our staff caffeinated with free coffee delivered all throughout the day, and Flappys , Mikes Pizza , and Viney’s all stepped in and donated pizza boxes when we ran out! Our community is truly incredible, and we are so thankful to everyone who showed up in support of this amazing family.

We’re helping to call our community to action by spreading the word. A toy drive/shopping spree has been organized by wonderful community members at Walmart today from 3:30-6:30, and Sonora Area Foundation is taking donations as well. The organizers of this event work tirelessly to make this toy drive happen for families in need, and the theft of these toys is heartbreaking and infuriating! Please share, and donate if you can!

They will also be accepting donations at the fairgrounds today and tomorrow until 5pm!

Carly has been working at Emberz for 3 years, and bartended in San Francisco for 5 years before joining our team! Carly is one of the best bartenders in the game, and she always gives impeccable customer service. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she is always up-beat!
