El Porvenir Christian Camp
Had a great time serving El Porvenir Christian Camp in the mountains of New Mexico with our team of skilled Tree Workers.
1 year from the date that this work took place, the largest fire that New Mexico has ever seen passed over this Camp. Despite high winds and an unimaginable inferno so hot that it split granite boulders in half and melted metal fencing on the outskirts of the camp, the majority of it’s structures still remains and will continue to serve generations of youth looking for hope.
Suffering + Perseverance x Character = Hope
“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
Romans 5:5 NIV
We are proud to have been a part in the recovery process and look forward to watching this Christian camp rebuild stronger than before.
We will have a snow plow available this afternoon in the Soulsbyville area. Give us a call if you still need to get your paved driveway plowed. 209-352-7920
‼️ Our tree team responded to an urgent removal today. 🚨 This Bull Pine was on the verge of uprooting toward a neighboring house but we were able to redirect its course with a bit of skill and some mechanical advantage.
Nice job fellas‼️

It's time to start thinking about w**d control for winter, spring and summer annual w**ds! We specialize in a wide range of pre-emergent herbicides to prevent the hard-to-control w**ds from growing. We offer detailed mapping and precise application to the different landscapes on your property.
This client has multiple w**ds we are trying to address. The areas highlighted in green are non-irrigated rough turf that they keep mowed low to the ground all season. Come summer time starthistle starts taking over the place. We can apply broadleaf herbicides to prevent the thistle from ever germinating but they will still have nice green grass all winter and spring.
The areas highlighted in red are areas they want completely w**d free. There is some landscape shrubs and trees that are sensitive to harsh pre-emergent herbicides. Our client also has goat heads, hairy fleabane and other tough to control w**ds growing in this area. We will carefully choose the proper herbicides from our arsenal to help them achieve their landscaping goals.
Wait! Is it safe for children and pets? Absolutely! Speak with our herbicide specialist to learn more about what we use!
Give us a call for a free estimate. Our rates are cheap and you will be amazed with the results! 209-352-7920 ext. 3

Public notice for residents in the Valley Springs area:
We are seeing an influx of Acute Oak Decline (AOD)
AOD is typically associated with certain species of borer beetle that introduce certain bacteria to the tree.
It affects native oaks generally over 50 years old. The key symptoms are black, weeping patches on trunks and branches, which results in the death of the underlying tissue. Unlike trees showing chronic oak decline, some trees affected by AOD die within 4 to 5 years of the onset of symptoms. In the early stages of this condition no changes in canopy health are noticeable but as trees approach death the crown becomes visibly thinner.

Dead trees are an extreme fire danger as they allow wildfires to spread more rapidly in these already dry, hot, and drought-stricken conditions.
If you have dead or dying trees on your property, regardless of the cause, the entire tree needs to be removed to reduce wildfire risk. If there are bark beetle-infested trees, they will die; removing them early may prevent further infestation.
Call for a free assessment of your property and check out CAL FIRE’S website for resources of how you can do your part to keep our community safe!

Update from the Tuolumne County Fire Safe Council Meeting on 4/27:
The action topic for this months meeting was to discuss the implementation of a new ordinance in Tuolumne County that would affect all private land owners by requiring some amount of clearing, cut-back, and fuel reduction on these private vacant properties that adjoin with another private property owner.
There still seems to be a huge amount of vagueness to this ordinance as the council has created a draft as to what this ordinance would entail, however, they did not provide a draft of the ordinance to any members of the public at this committee meeting.
The draft is being sought out for approval at next months meeting on May 25th.
Public concerns at this meeting were asked but not addressed. The meeting was scheduled to run from 10:30a.m. until 12:30p.m.
At approximately 11:45a.m. during public comment in regards to the action topic two of the fire safe council members got up from their seats and left the council chambers unannounced which at that point Supervisor David Goldemberg immediately shutdown the meeting 45 minutes early due to their no longer being an adequate amount of council members at the table.
As you could imagine this was quite insulting to the multiple contractors who had taken time out of their own busy schedules to be at this meeting and have their opinions heard in regards to the adoption of a new ordinance that could have a major impact on the community as a whole.
The lack of roadway clearing nor acknowledgment of Tuolumne County owned properties that have been left unmaintained will NOT be addressed in the new ordinance as it only applies to private land owners.
When asked about the hypocrisy of their proposed ordinance their response was that funds were unavailable. Roadway clearing is positively necessary to allow for people to escape from their communities in the event of a wildfire with out being burned alive in their vehicles.
Tuolumne County has their priorities mixed up and we need more voices and educated opinions to guide these decisions.
Life before property should always be the priority.
Feel free to email me with any questions in regards to these matters and I would be more than happy to discuss.
