These fancy pieces of cord are very handy tools! These can be used to sand down any rough edges in your tuning pins or on your bridge pins. If you find that a new string is being shredded when installed, or if a string is breaking at the tuning pin or soundboard, consider this a possible solution!

Each Abrasive Cord pack comes with 2 cords of different sizes. Packs are $4.50+tax.

We have new music!

11/28/2023

Tomorrow (Wednesday Nov 29) we will open at 2:30pm instead of our normal 10:30am. Thanks everyone!

Has your harp recently been breaking strings? If it has, there may be a simple reason: weather. A very common reason why strings break is a change in temperature, so seasonal changes are often guilty of crimes against your harp and wallet! Over the past couple weeks, we have gotten a number of string orders because of this very thing. We are here to help!
To minimize strings breaking, try to keep the room your harp is in at an even temperature, and avoid placing your harp next to windows, doors, heaters or air conditioners.

Happy Autumn!

The Legacy of the Harp

What a wonderful legacy of the harp for Jaron Kaipainen!

"This picture is the reason Jaron plays the harp! This is his Great-Grandma, Ida "Dot" Paulson. She was a professional harpist and this picture was on our wall growing up even before I was born.
When Jaron was four, he was looking up at it and asked, "who is that and what is that?!?!"
We explained and he told us he wanted to play. He consistently asked to play, so finally after two years (yep, he was asking for two years!), we figured he really meant it. :) So, he's been playing since he was six, which is half of his life!!
We are thankful for you!!!"

(Written by Joe Hisaishi and arranged by Miki Kurahashi, adapted for harp by Celidh Swan, from film "Spirited Away.")
