Pecan pie, banana pudding cheesecake, and a banana cake, covered in a vanilla ermine frosting.

I don’t make just sweets, and is the best meal of the day.
Friday: over easy egg, crispy prosciutto, everything bagel season (which really does go well on pretty much everything), and a sprinkle of peperoncino verde calabrese piccante…spicy Calabrian green chili flakes. I promise a little sprinkle of all you need!
My mom still hates it when I make my own , but I like to use it and an opportunity to try out a new technique or baking/decorating device, and I’ve been dying for a chance to use my new .
Y’all, this thing is amazeballs and I’m so excited to see what else I’m gonna be able to do with it. Help me put it to good use and let me make your next cake!
This cake is a vanilla funfetti, with a hazelnut soak, chocolate buttercream filling, and Guittard couverture white chocolate ganache.
Wow! What an amazing opportunity to be a vendor at Sugar High Fest 2023.
This was by far, the biggest thing I’ve ever done and I have to admit, I almost pulled out of it soooo many times. I was a teeny, tiny guppy in shark infested water. I’m exhausted, and my whole body hurts, but I had so much fun connecting with fellow sweets producers and sugar lovers!
I couldn’t have pulled this off without the help of a few very special people. I want to give a huge thanks to all my family and friends who came to the event and everyone who stopped by my booth. I know you had many, many delicious treats to choose from. As a very small, single person operation, every visitor honestly meant the world to me!

you really want a sammich, but you don’t have bread and you don’t want to turn the oven on because it’s a million degrees outside, so you pull out the bread machine at 8pm and make a loaf of honey and olive oil white bread.
Watching .high.events inspired me to make some cookies of my own this week.
While I don’t know if I’d pit myself against some of the Utah cookie powerhouses, having FIVE different people say “this is the best peanut butter cookie I’ve ever had” and “way better than is a pretty great feeling!
I’m never gonna say no to making treats for some , especially cookie-inspired ones!

Not gonna lie, it’s probably the best buttercream I’ve ever made!
Peanut with a simple ganache filling.
Delicate yet demanding, they’re slightly crispy but melt in your mouth at the same time.
They’re petite, pretty, and always delicious. Macarons can be a pain, and there are so many external factors that can contribute to them failing (like humidity), but once you get them right, it’s one of the most rewarding things for a baker!
When you’re asked to make a Nightmare Before Christmas cake, the only acceptable answer is “yes.”
