We discovered this local park early on in covid last year and have made it a regular stop with every trip. Its not in a major tourist spot so it is SO MUCH LESS CROWDED!

It has separate a playground for the littles, a huge open field to run around on and the views? Well thet arent too shabby either (SWIPE!)

Who wants to watch the sunset from our hot tub? 🙋‍♀️🌅

We knew having a hot tub at our rental was a no brainer. Guests continually tell us how much they enjoy it after a day on the slopes or an outdoor adventure.

I love how our green roof blends in so perfectly with the towering pine trees. Our home truly is "woodsy" even though we are still in the heart of the town.

And look how beautiful and SO CLOSE the lake is!! When we say walkable, we mean it

A 🐻 & a coyote all outside our house in the same day! Yes, this bear was just strolling around, 1 block away (and sadly, headed for a very busy street).
And the coyote (pic 3) actually ran from the side of our house, just past us on the driveway and down the street.

Looks like winter is officially over and spring has sprung in tahoe!

Our "cozy cabin" wasn't so cute when we first bought it in Jan 2016. But I could see the potential! Ever since then we have been making upgrades, big & small.

Which do you like better- dated & faded OR so fresh & so green green? 🌲

AFTER & BEFORE, Part II

Family room decor make over! AFTER & BEFORE...

I had to do the AFTER picture first bc the BEFORE is Just. So. Bad. Do you see that oversized, lime green lamp?! And those rugs?! 🤯

Updating the decor and furniture was our 1st priority before we starting renting out the home (plus a fresh coat of paint!).

New sectional couch & rustic bench provided some much improved seating. Pairing them with some Lake Tahoe photography & decor on the wall made this room guest ready. We also moved the TV to a much more logical spot in the room.

I should actually call this the MIDDLE instead of AFTER as there are still more things we have planned for this room 🤔😁
