Last week was a fantastic kick off to our United Way campaign! Our Engagement Champions worked hard to put together a fun day of carnival games to raise money for United Way and give employees fun opportunities to win prizes! We also had a dunk tank and appreciate all of the dunkees who raised money by being dunked! Thank you to everyone that helped plan, that volunteered to help run the games and all of the employees that donated and participated!

This week the United Way Campaign kicked off and one fun event we are having is "Flamingo Fun." This is where a person nominates another to have their work area decorated while making a donation to United Way. A person can also buy insurance which would protect them and the decoration goes right back to who nominated them! Here are a few pics of those areas that were flocked and our Engagement Champions that are decorating. So much fun and it just makes everyone smile! And it is raising money for a great organization!

Congratulations to Chris Golliher who was nominated for July's PQVC Spotlight of the Month in the area of Cost! Chris has vast knowledge and experience in many areas and recently helped in Layout to ensure a critical asset would have as little delay as possible. Chris never hesitates to step up to help wherever needed and whenever asked. Chris, thank you for your flexibility and for all that you do!

Congratulations to Brian Misko for being selected in the area of Quality for July's PQVC Employee Spotlight of the Month! Brian made a positive impact when getting a part moving to be at a machine with little to no down time. This kept us from having to reset the job up! Brian, great work in all that you do. Thank you!

Congratulations to Miguel Farias for being nominated for the PQVC Employee Spotlight of the Month is the area of Velocity! Miguel is always willing to help any time he is asked and without hesitation. He made himself available for crane coverage on 3rd shift and there have been many other times that we have counted on him. Miguel, thank you for your commitment and willingness to help in many different areas!

Fun fact about Noy is that he loves fishing and is currently in the lead for our fishing competition with a 46.25" king salmon and 15.5" crappies that he recently caught! The South Milwaukee Heritage Days Parade was super fun and as always, well attended by the community! A huge thank you to everyone that walked in the parade with Caterpillar and United Steelworkers. A big shout out to Brian Parent with Fabick Cat for driving his service truck and Juan Guevara for driving his truck with the USW float!

Congratulations to Mirko Todorovic who was nominated and selected for June's Velocity award as part of our PQVC recognition program! Mirko always shows his strong work ethic on a daily basis. He is a very hard working individual and dedicated to make the team succeed. He never hesitates to help anyone that needs it and has ensured new team members in the shipping department are properly trained. Mirko, thank you for all that you do! Congratulations!
