This fairly uncommon Hoya is easily one of my favorites! Throughout its growth cycles, colors of ruby red, dark green, lime green, yellow, and peach will emerge. This plant grows and vines relatively fast, and my favorite part about it is how easy it is to care for. Keep it in medium to bright indirect light, and water thoroughly when the soil dries completely.

Saddened, scared, angered. The AAPI community is struggling right now and we need your help. I encourage you to use your voice and social media platforms to bring awareness to the crimes and abuse happening to AAPI folks, and if you have the means, make a donation to one of the many fundraisers that will go towards empowering and uplifting the AAPI community.
Yesterday, we dedicated 100% of the day’s proceeds to “Support the AAPI Community Fund” via . I’m beyond fortunate that Plant Life has enabled me the means to financially support causes that provide aid to the community, and I stand by putting money where your mouth is (if you’re able). That aside, being an ally and spreading awareness are completely free, so please stand up for the AAPI community during these very difficult times.

Where are my Scindapsus lovers at?! I’ve been obsessed with the colors, sheens, and textures of the Scindapsus genus lately, and I love how low maintenance they are too. My current faves are Jade Satins, Treubii, and Silver Heros. I’ve been working on making more rare/uncommon cultivars available at my shop, so keep an eye out! 🤓
Anyway, pictured is the Jade Satin Pothos, selectively bred from the Silver Satin Pothos for thick, deep green leaves. If you’re able to find one of these plants for sale, they may be on the pricy side. Why? They take FOREVER to root. In my most recent watering rooting experiment 🔬, I found that common Marble Queen Pothos cuttings took around 2 weeks to root, vs. the JSP cutting that took nearly 3 MONTHS to root. 😩 I have starter pots growing, so wait up for them! 🤣
