Saving the world from bad gifting. 11/17/2021

There’s nothing like the feeling of giving someone the perfect gift. However, this isn’t always an easy task. There is so much on the market now that it’s easy to get confused between brands, products, and designs. I personally can attest - unless I know exactly what I’m looking for and how to spell it (always a daunting task for me) I can spend hours going down the gift guide rabbit hole.
Which is why I am so keen on promoting Gift Avenger. Not only do they make finding the right gift fun and easy - but right now they are donating 90% of their earnings to the Make a Wish Foundation. Their goal this year is to raise $15,000.00; enough to make one special child’s wish come true.
If you are unfamiliar with Make a Wish, it’s an organization that helps create magical moments for children diagnosed with a critical illness. It’s an amazing non-profit doing really good work. So why not support the cause while doing a little holiday shopping.
There are no costs to you when you use Gift Avenger. Gift Avenger is associated with well known and trusted affiliates like Amazon. When you make a purchase the affiliate pays a commission to Gift Avenger who then donates 90% of those revenues to Make a Wish. It’s a win-win situation. You get to streamline your gift buying, Gift Avenger gets to expand their reach, and Make a Wish gets one step closer to making another child’s dream come true.
, , ,

Saving the world from bad gifting. Gift avenger fearlessly scoured the web for gift ideas so you can be a gifting hero. We are on a mission to prevent bad gifting. Here you’ll find a gift for everyone - for your family member who likes blue three-toed frogs or a more simple gift for grammy. Unique and thoughtful. You’ll be a hero...

Hi everyone! Welcome to Wishes, Witches & Wienerdogs Wednesday! This will be Sparky and my last day till after Halloween, so we wanted to share some of our favourite holiday stories! We'll be back next Wednesday after all the Halloween Hysteria! Today I'll be starting with an excerpt from Shel Silverstein's "Where the Sidewalk Ends" entitled "the silver fish". Then I'll be reading "Heckedy Peg" by Audrey and Don Wood. I'll follow this up with my very favourite Halloween story of all time, Dav Pilkey's "The Hallo-Wiener". Finally, I'll share a story from "Ghosts! Ghostly Tales from Folklore" called "the umbrella" by Alvin Schwartz with illustrations by Victoria Chess.

Welcome to a brand new week! I'm calling today Monster Party Monday! That's right, the monsters are coming out to play as Sparky and I continue our spooky count down to my favourite holiday...Halloween! I'll be starting with an excerpt from Shel Silverstein's "Where the Sidewalk Ends" entitled "pirate captain jim". Then we'll visit a great monster classic "Where the Wild Thing Are" with story and illustrations by Maurice Sendak. I'll follow this up with an Epic App story entitled "Haunted Party", authored and illustrated by Iza Tapani. Then I'll share a final story from "Ghosts! Ghostly Tales from Folklore" called "the haunted house" by Alvin Schwartz with illustrations by Victoria Chess. I'll be sharing my own Monster Songs today, I hope you like them!
