With the recent increase in prevalence of metal health related issues, there are concerns that the current model of metal health care does not adequately address the complex challenges of metal illness which accounts for roughly 1/3rd of adult disability globally. It is suggested that broadening the current paradigm by including evidence-based integrative treatments will probably result in improved outcomes, enhanced patient satisfaction, and more cost-effective care over the long term.

So why not think about chiropractic? Studies have shown that patients under chiropractic care treated for non specific musculoskeletal pain reported improvements in their presenting complaints as well as non-musculoskeletal symptoms. Patients also demonstrate clinical improvements in their Short Form Health Survey scores showing a measurable improvement in their overall quality of life.
