Wooohooo! It's a book review submitted by one of you!

A patron recently returned The Shadow of War by Jeff Shaara and wanted to let everyone know how fantastic this book is, especially if you lived through this patch of history. It is a "very interesting" read, and you can check it out yourself here at the library!

If you have a book you'd like to review, drop by the front desk and chat with one of our staff members about completing a review from. It's quick and easy, and it'd just make our day!

πŸ“šπŸŽ¨ **Graphic Novel Month: Week 4** πŸŽ¨πŸ“š

Welcome back to Graphic Novel Month! We hope you've enjoyed our journey through these incredible graphic novels so far. This week, we have an enchanting series that combines adventure, friendship, and stunning artwork.

Lauren's recommendation for this week is the **Lightfall series** by Tim Probert.

The Lightfall series follows the adventures of Bea and Cad as they navigate a world filled with wonder and danger. Tim Probert’s captivating illustrations and heartfelt storytelling make this series a standout in the world of graphic novels. The rich world-building and endearing characters will draw you in from the very first page.

Have you explored the world of Lightfall? Share your thoughts with us in the comments! And don’t forget, we still have one more fantastic recommendation coming up next week to close out Graphic Novel Month.

πŸ“šπŸŽ¨ **Graphic Novel Month: Week 3** πŸŽ¨πŸ“š

Welcome back to Graphic Novel Month! We hope you've been enjoying our selections so far. This week, we have a timeless classic reimagined in a stunning graphic novel format.

Melanie's recommendation for this week is **To Kill A Mockingbird** by Harper Lee, with a graphic interpretation by Fred Fordham. πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ“–

This graphic novel adaptation brings new life to Harper Lee's beloved story, capturing the essence of the original novel while adding a fresh visual dimension. Through Fred Fordham's beautiful illustrations, readers can experience the story of Scout Finch, her brother Jem, and their father Atticus in a whole new way.

Welcome back to Graphic Novel Month! We hope you enjoyed our first recommendation, Lore Olympus. This week, we're excited to share another incredible graphic novel that holds a special place in our hearts.

Laurel's recommendation for this week is the powerful and poignant **Persepolis** by Marjane Satrapi. πŸŒŸπŸ“–

Persepolis is a groundbreaking memoir that tells the story of Marjane Satrapi's childhood and early adult years in Iran during and after the Islamic Revolution. Through stunning black-and-white illustrations and compelling narrative, Satrapi provides a deeply personal and political perspective on life in Iran, exploring themes of identity, freedom, and resilience.
