Shout out to our awesome Dorothy’s Montessori alumni student Max Turner! He came to volunteer at our camp today and did a wonderful job with the campers. Max attends The Roeper School and is a great athlete, musician and chessman just to name a few of his many talents. Kudos to his parents; Khary & Tunesia Turner❤️ We look forward to seeing Max again and following his educational journey.

Congratulations to our DeRor Alumna Naomi Evans, daughter of the late Attorney Marlon Evans and the amazing Attorney/Judge Vonda Evans. Last week Naomi received her MNM: Master of Nonprofit Management and Gradcert in Arts Management. She previously received her BA from Michigan State University in Community Governance and Advocacy. Congratulations to our DeRor Alumna Erin Keith, daughter of Journalist/Musician Luther Keith & Jacqueline Keith for receiving the NAACP Great Expectation Award this weekend at the annual Detroit NAACP Fight for Freedom fund dinner.
