It’s me. I’ve already moved on from 💀 skeletons to 🎅 Santa!

I’ve already gotten inquiries and bookings, so I thought I’d better get the show on the road. My Santa sessions fill up completely every year, so act fast!

That’s my motto as well! 22 kids! Mr. Nelson laughed when I told him I had 5. “I can’t even remember having 5!” he said!

I bet he doesn’t! However, the most respectful, patient, kind, and loving kids were at this shoot! It was a pleasure!

Transformed our studio into a magical proposal venue for the ultimate surprise! My bff Sarah & I are kind of like Lucy & Ethel. When Jaxson said the ring was ready we told him to seize the day so Monica would be surprised. It worked!!she said yes, and they will live happily ever after!!

A few days prior to this were both the 100th day of school for my kindergarten class and my 97th (according to my class), birthday. Then one of their older siblings (a whole 4th grader), said, “No. She’s like 28.” Either way, I look great for my age.

I’m a little chunkier and wrinklier than I was in my last head shots but I’m also more experienced, less intimidated, and unapologetic than I was.

I have more life than ever soaking up time and it takes me away from shooting as much as I’d like (and that car fire set me back a minute or two. This isn’t even my camera. I had to borrow one from Marina Russell Photography]), but I am more careful about what I book and when. I enjoy it more because it’s more rare. Most importantly, I found the Whitney Houston channel on Sirius XM so…

My goodness I feel old! My oldest daughter is just younger than Skylar, who’s getting married TOMORROW! I went to school with her mom and I just adore the Jordan family!

You two have such a great example on your wonderful parents’ relationship! Congratulations !!

Newborn sessions always include outfits, wraps, props, hats/bows. I have everything you need, or I’ll make it! Love crafting newborn items!

Green is my favorite color! When mamas & papas of these sweet newborns ask for “neutral & earthy” tones, I always use some green.

So blessed! A car fire started while driving back from my parents’ house on Sunday. We are all safe and *maybe* I can save the sessions on this card. is trying for me first! This is what’s left of my ❤️

This couple, so young and vibrant. In the prime of their lives 🤣 Somehow we ended up in the same town as old folks 🙂.

I worked with Brianna and our babies who were 4 (and younger), at a Montessori school about 15 years ago. The same year my husband bought me my first camera. Now those babies are adults and doing great things. This makes family pictures that much more important! Am I right moms?!
