They are always giving time to the community. Whether here in Randy's hometown of Cataract or Deb's hometown of Leon.

Randy & Deb Abbott

Deb (Selbrede) was born and raised in Leon and attended 6 years at Leon School. She was very active in the Leon Livewires 4-H Club showing farm raised Holstein cattle and Arts & Crafts. Randy was born and raised in Cataract, attending the Cataract Elementary School and as a young man he enjoyed fast cars. Both graduated from Sparta High School and went to work at CenturyTel Phone Company.
Randy and Deb have been married 46 years and reside in Sparta. They have 2 sons, Nick & Nate who live in Leon with their families. Deb is an active member of the Leon Garden Club and serves as secretary of the Leon Community Club board, as well as a Leon Township election pole worker for the past 10 years. Randy is always helping Deb and the boys with projects at the community center and is involved in the Cataract Sportsman Club. Both are also very active members of the Cataract United Methodist Church.
Randy & Deb are enjoying their retirement by keeping up with their granddaughters’ sports schedules and spending time at their camper on Nelson Lake in the summer. They enjoy giving back to their hometown communities and can always be found when there is work to be done.
Gatorfest is honored to have the support of people like Randy & Deb. Congratulations, and THANK YOU for all you do!
