Isla's on the Square: Splashing into Spartanburg — InTheBurg Isla's on the Square is officially open in Downtown Spartanburg, offering fresh oysters and a coastal menu, craft cocktails with tiki influence, and a full wine and beer menu. Isla's is open Tuesday through Saturday, with beverage and oyster service at 4pm, dinner at 5pm.

Today marks the end of an era at Delaney's Irish Pub - Spartanburg as we bid a heartfelt farewell to an indispensable part of our management team, Austin McBride Quillin. For over 12 amazing years, Austin has been one of the backbones of our pub. Her leadership, passion, and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in creating the warm and welcoming atmosphere that has made Delaney's the community staple that we all love.

Over the years, we've had the joy of watching Austin grow not only as a leader but also as a person. We've celebrated her milestones, from her marriage to becoming a homeowner. She truly embodies the family atmosphere that Delaney's is known for.

While we’ll miss her dearly at Delaney's, we're thrilled to announce that Austin is taking on an exciting new role as the General Manager of our new sister restaurant,
Isla's on the Square . At Isla’s, Austin will be leading the charge in establishing Downtown Spartanburg's newest dining concept. Her unique set of leadership skills will foster a welcoming environment that will make Isla’s a new favorite in the community. Her experience and dedication make her the perfect fit to bring Isla’s vision to life.

Join us in celebrating Austin's last shift today (11am-5pm) and wishing her all the best in her new role. Thank you, Austin, for everything you've done for Delaney's. We know Isla's on the Square is in the best hands possible!

The Delaney's family is heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend, Harry Dominick. Harry was staple behind our bar for many years and a LEGEND in the Spartanburg service industry. Much of our early success can be attributed to Harry, and the solid crew of people that called Delaney's home and became family. After leaving, Harry lent his knowledge and friendship to other amazing Spartanburg restaurants including Cribb's Kitchen on Main and Willy Taco - Hub City. It's hard to find a restaurant with someone that hasn't been influenced by Harry's infectious personality, amazing jokes, and skill behind the bar. ☘

In accordance with the wishes of the family, Delaney's will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Harry on Wednesday, August 9th 5pm-8pm. We look forward to sharing memories and remembering the life of our amazing friend. ☘
