Hamp (aka Wade Jr.) was a surprise guest on WSPA 7News this morning! Longtime TV personality Jack Roper loves Wade's so we surprised him with some southern cooking to celebrate his retirement after 39 years on air! Congrats on retirement Mr. Roper!

Congratulations Elizabeth on your 𝟮𝟱 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 at Wade's! 🎉 Elizabeth started her Wade’s career in high school as a waitress then joined our corporate office team in ‘99! She handles EVERYTHING at our corporate office & keeps us all organized! We can rely on Elizabeth to get the job done RIGHT! Her attention to detail & understanding of the Wade’s Way makes her a valuable asset to our team. Elizabeth is truly part of the family and a joy to be around. She is one of those team members that is "behind the scenes", but makes a huge impact on the success of Wade's! Outside of work, Elizabeth has lots of excitement going on in her personal life with the graduation of her son from UVA Darden School of Business this weekend AND any day now she will become a first time grandmother when her daughter welcomes a new baby boy! There were many great applicants but only one could be chosen! Sydney was selected by a committee from OneSpartanburg, Inc. based on her fantastic attendance record, outstanding performance log and her application where she beautiful explained what excellence means to her. She will be attending Upstate in the Fall and we are excited to provide $3000 toward her tuition!

Wade’s looks forward to providing this Scholarship for years to come as we continue to foster a culture of excellence that values developing people and continuous improvement both professionally, and personally.

Awarded to one active Wade’s Restaurant team member each school year who plans to attend, or is currently attending, one of the seven public and private accredited college and universities in Spartanburg, SC.

This has been a goal of ours for a long time and we are thrilled that it is finally here. Thank you to OneSpartanburg, Inc. for making this dream come to life! We have so many deserving team members but there will only be one to receive this $𝟯𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 toward tuition. We can't wait to announce the recipient later this Spring!
