67th Salmon BBQ is done.
Over 100 Volunteers come together each year to make each Salmon BBQ a successful fundraiser for the Western Dance Center.
For some this was their 30th, 40th, or 50+ Salmon BBQ, for some it was their 1st.
Many are Square or Round dancers, others are former dancers who don't have time to dance or can't dance anymore, others are friends or family of square/round dancers who make time every year to spend the day Volunteering.
Whomever they are, the Western Dance Center would NOT exist without our Faithful Volunteers.
We serve the public a Great meal (650+ this year), cooked and hosted by Volunteers as we have for 67 years.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to ALL our Volunteers and EVERYONE that came out to have a Great Meal and share in the festivities!!!

It’s begun! They 65th Annual Salmon BBQ and Summer Dance Festival is here. Dancers, join us for a fun weekend of dancing. Non-dancers, join us for the BBQ on Sunday afternoon, noon until four and learn what we all love this activity so much.

Our Beautiful Hall stands ready and eager to host dances. Alas, the COVID-19 virus has other plans.
It is with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of our annual Salmon BBQ on August 23rd, 2020 and the accompanying Summer Festival Dances on August 20th, 21st, and 22nd.
We hope to see you all on the dance floor soon, please stay safe and stay healthy.

The Dance featuring Mike Sikorsky on Friday July 17th, 2020 is cancelled.
Mike is very ill with pnuemonia (not COVID-19), his family would appreciate your prayers.

Salmon BBQ planning meeting originally scheduled for Sunday June 28th will be postponed till July.
Stay tuned for an announcement with the new Date and Time.

Our Grand Lady was REALLY looking forward to having a packed Dance Floor last Monday and Tuesday night.
But she is patiently awaiting our return when it is safe to do so....

WDA Anniversary Dance
with Paul Cote and Shawna Domme
on Friday May 29th, 2020
due to the Governor extending the statewide shutdown.
We hope to be dancing even if only on a limited basis by late June.
