Delilah has been adopted!! ❤️

Delilah is a two year old Australian Shepherd mix. She is super sweet, and is making good progress with warming up to the staff here despite being shy. She is an active dog who will need plenty of space to run. Delilah will need a fenced yard and no small animals such as cats or chickens. She is a working breed and likes to herd/chase farm animals as her instincts encourage her to. She will need to do a meet and greet with any dogs you have in your household before we send her home with you. She can be a little territorial with her food, so feeding her separately from other pets in the household will be a must. Please consider adding this sweetheart to your family today!

Meet Nina! She is a five year old Siberian Husky who would love to find her forever family! Nina is a little shy around new people, and needs some help building her confidence. She will need an owner who is willing and able to help her with her training and socialization. Nina would do best in a house, as she does howl and bark occasionally - a typical husky! Gandalf (Russian Blue) and Duchess (Tabico) are the newest additions to our cat room! Gandalf is around 5 years old and Duchess is around 1 year. Lately we have been getting a lot of comments from people saying things like: “Wow, we’ve never heard of your organization before” or “We had no idea you offered that service!” So, we wanted to take the time to introduce ourselves to all the new people!

Julia’s Jungle is a small no-kill animal rescue in Spokane Valley that houses dogs and cats for adoption. We obtain our animals mostly through owner surrenders, which means we can know the history of each animal that comes through our doors, and that helps us to place them into the best home we can. Our animals are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered by Mountain Empire Vet before leaving our care. The cost to adopt one of our animals is only $100, because we believe everyone deserves the chance to have an animal companion to love.

We house and care for all of our animals until they are adopted - no matter how long that may take. We are a small capacity rescue, which helps ensure that each animal that stays with us gets the care and attention they deserve until they get adopted.

In addition to our adoption center, Julia’s Jungle also offers professional grooming, dog and cat boarding, walk-in nail trims, and a self-service dogwash.

Meet your new bestest friend, Max! He is a year and a half old male husky who is the absolute sweetest boy you’ll ever meet! Max would love to go home to a house with other dogs his size, and will need a yard and plenty of walks to help him with his husky energy! Max is a fairly quiet boy, which is odd for this breed, but that’s part of what makes him so cool! He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Come take Max home today!

Meet Cooper! He is a four year old foxhound mix. Cooper is a very good boy who has a lot of energy! He will need a yard or property to help burn it off. Cooper has a bit of a problem with going potty in his kennel. He doesn’t mark, he just can’t hold it for very long due to having pancreatitis earlier this year, so he will need an owner who is able to accommodate this issue. It may resolve itself over time, but until then he needs patience. Cooper would do best as either an only dog or with a female dog his own size. He needs a refresher on basic manners, but he does know how to sit. Come check out Cooper today!
