Just a little "FYI" :)
A special "THANK YOU" to Daisy and Owen Fire Department for helping us all learn CPR--we are so grateful for your service! Thank you both for all you do and for helping save lives everyday!
We would like to say a sincere "THANK YOU" to an incredibly kind good samaritan who thoughtfully stopped by and plowed our front parking lot when our snow plowing company had two plowers out that day and couldn't get to our lot. Our whole staff is in deep gratitude for the kind gesture!!

Congratulations to Saige our grand prize raffle winner and all our raffle winners! Christmas party was soooooo fun!! Let's do it again next year! :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Happy 2nd Birthday Mocha! You are one INCREDIBLE doggie!!
Look who's new to our little AEC family! It's one of our amazing employees new kitty named August! August is a Scottish Fold kitty, hence the folded ears. I had the chance to visit her at the clinic and she is a total purring sweetheart with a little spunky attitude. Love your new kitten Saige -- she's so cute I want her all to myself! :)
We are so happy we were able to help this beautiful dog! Her name is Zelda and we had the opportunity to see her before her competition and make her feel better. Her owner says they were competing in the NASDA Invitational in MT doing Shed Dog (retrieving antlers) and we helped make it possible for them to get to the competition. So happy we could help!! Grateful for the pictures--sure makes us all feel good when we get to see the animals we treat doing well! Congratulations Zelda and family!
Thank you sooooo much Marlo for the cute, creative, thoughtful and kind card!! We love it! Can't believe you collected all those rocks and were able to make them into an adorable piece of art. We like it so much we've been selfishly keeping it on our office desk at home! :)

May is "Chip Your Pet Month" and each year approximately 10 million pets are lost in America, with millions ending up in animal shelters. No matter how careful we are with our pets, they can still get lost. While there is no sure way to prevent your pet from getting lost, we can all do our best to help make sure they are returned home with a microchip.
Microchipping and Lost Pet Prevention A microchip can make a big difference in recovering a lost pet. Learn about the benefits and take our poll.
Sunflowers are known for their beauty and ability to bring joy. Thank you to our beautiful receptionists who bring joy to our clinic and calming words to our clients! Happy "Veterinary Receptionist Week"!
It's just about time to break out the grills but one “grilling” question might be on your mind this BBQ season—Can Pets Eat BBQ sauce??
The answer is NO, pets should not eat BBQ sauce. Some main ingredients found in typical BBQ sauces include: vinegar, tomato paste, onion powder, garlic powder, liquid smoke, salt, various spices, molasses and other sugars and even xylitol.
Some of these ingredients (and what they are basted upon) may cause an upset stomach and possibly diarrhea. However, onion, garlic and xylitol are toxic to pets. So, while you might be tempted to share your deliciously grilled chicken smothered in tasty BBQ sauce—it is much safer if you keep it all to yourself! Happy (almost) BBQ-ing season!
