My student Jack and his sister Emma have been in lessons for five years now. It’s been so cool to see both of them grow up. Jack surprised me with a Lego build of my studio even including video light, desk and studio monitors and guitars. Sooo cool!

Parents had to put down our childhood dog this week. She was in a lot of pain and so it’s for the best but very sad to see her go. She definitely helped get me through a lot of tough times growing up.
12 years ago… when mom comes in clutch with those photos 😂
Great getting to see my ukulele student Megan at her ballet yesterday! And ran into another one of my students, Ellenore who was also there to support Megan! Spokane is such a small world haha!

It was great getting to see my student Sean after 3 years of online lessons via zoom finally in person! Sean started as one of my students in Spokane and then when he moved to the Seattle area for a career has continued on in lessons. Very cool to see where he has come. He started as a beginner player and has come so far and is now learning the insides out of Logic and recording and mixing!

Received this touching note from a student’s mom this last week. It was his last lesson after over three years of lessons. It has been so awesome to work with such awesome people some of you for a number of years!! I’m truly so thankful to all of my students who have been on the journey with me! Merry Christmas everyone!

This morning my student Mark showed up this morning with matching tee shirt and strap 😂 It’s no secret that there’s only one string I recommend to my students and peers! What’s doubly ironic is we were both rocking our Teles this morning 😅
