Car came in from 3 hours away for a big brake kit install. Everything went together pretty well and Wilhelm was very responsive via email for any questions. Got it all in and bled then found out the customer’s Enkei RPF1s (16x7” front, 17x9” rear, offset I’m unsure of) and the front nor the rear cleared the new calipers. Was about 4pm at tha point and the customer needed to drive home 3 hours for work in the morning. After testing how much spacer would be required to clear the clips by stacking washers, we called all around trying to find any for sale. No luck. Next option was to make them. We quickly rew up some wheel spacers in solidworks and cnc plasma cut them out of 1/2” steel for the rears, and installed a set of longer wheel studs. The front only needs 1/8” spacers so those were cut from a sheet of 1/8” aluminum. Customer made it home without issues.
Car came in non-running due to a skipped timing belt. Fixed that and a laundry list of other things as well as re-degreeing the cams, adding fuel and oil pressure sensors, and updating to an AEM CAN wideband. This 10+ year old built motor was a bit loose on the ring seal (was popping the dipstick out of the tube until it was “restrained”), but still made decent power on pump gas and e72. Fuel pressure started dropping at 430whp Uncorrected causing injector to go near 100% duty. Final numbers were around 360-370whp pump gas and 420-430 e72 full flex fuel tuned.
Cut and welded together two Pittsburg pulley pullers to make a special service tool to remove the 5th gear on the e153. This was after my 3 jaw puller I’ve been limping along for 20 years finally broke too bad to repair. Lots of ways to get this done, but this is the tool I wanted for this job.
A little port and polish on this stock exhaust manifold for a 2nd gen 3sgte running a KO Racing custom turbo kit. Have never tested this mod for gains versus an all stock manifold but it’s got to help a bit. Also port matched the manifold inlet. Every little bit helps.
Sometimes you need a degree wheel, but don’t want to drive somewhere or wait for one to ship to you. So you naturally just draw up and plasma cut a 16ga steel disk, and then draw up a tick-mark wheel in CAD to print out and packaging tape to the steel disk. I’m glad I’m not the only one. 😅
Another in town and sold this customer a Link ecu to re-tune the car with along with a few pressure sensors and a Link CAN gauge. Looking forward to this tuning job for sure. The modification list looks like a JDM parts catalog including HKS 2.8 stroker kit, turbo, exhaust plus a smattering of Greddy, Apex’i and more.

Mmm…. Yes please. R34 GTR V-Spec. In for some dyno testing and making sure things are good to go on USA pump gas. Power FC equipped currently and was running a little too much ignition advance for our 92 octane fuel. Tuning via the commander is terrible btw. 350awhp at 15psi Uncorrected.

Combining cnc plasma cutting for rough cutting a fl**ge with finish machining on the cnc mill makes for relatively quick high quality finish fl**ges. Love how these are coming out.
Decided to make this to prime the oil system externally on a motor that is in car, but has been sitting a while before first start or with large external oil coolers and line setups (or both). -10 line can hook to a spin on adapter in place of the filter. and suction from a quart bottle. Plus it used stuff I had on hand. Spin the pump with a drill.
Super clean 56 Chevrolet pickup on dyno for some Sniper efi tuning on our 424xLC chassis dyno. Was running really weird at first as it had learned some bad habits. but we got it smoothed out and running well.
Some tuning on this beautiful 68 Camaro after troubleshooting some fuel delivery issues. 700R4 equipped with a 355 small block and the Terminator Stealth system with Hyperspark ignition. Nice setup and should be lots of fun. Our extra analog inputs came@in handy monitoring fuel pressure during dyno runs as there was no onboard pressure sensor and the mechanical gauge was not easy to watch during a pull. Pulls were made in third gear and ended up with 294whp and 312wftlbs.

A little TerminatorX tune checkup after being transported across country. Ls swapped and boosted BMW 328. Somehow this swap seems so right to me.
CNC Plasma table assembled and making parts. I chose to weld the water table halves together instead of using bolts and sealer provided. I also welded 1/2” NPT drain bungs flush into the bottom of the water pan drain locations and then fit 1/4 turn ball valves to drain. While it will be nice to be able to make all of our current needs for fl**ges, this does open up the possibility to quite a bit more going forward. This will improve our engineering design and CAD capabilities ( ) to bring ideas from the computer to reality. The plasma cutter is an with machine torch.
On our way to making our own fl**ges!! This was the first run.
Attempted to run oil temp at the head pressure take off on this mr2. Compared with a second sensor in the pan that was running to a previously installed dedicated Autometer Gauge. Pan sensor worked much better so ended up installing the ecu sensor there instead. Really liking the CAN gauge private labeled for LinkECU.

when I turbo swapped my 1995 NA MR2 in my home shop with some help from friends over a weekend in June. Scavenged through all my used parts to piece together the swap to OEM spec gen2 3sgte from the still working 255k mile 5sfe and S54 manual trans. Turbo axles, used L*D E153, stock used 93 turbo engine with 125k miles (and apparently a nasty oil leak from the head gasket). Has been running on a Link G4x since September. AC even blows cold.
