I want to pass along one specific tip he gave me. If you're ever in an accident, don't contact a lawyer first! Always make a health care professional your first point of contact, and then reach out to a lawyer afterwards. If you contact the lawyer first, you may still win the claim, but you may not get enough visits covers to get you fully recovered. You'll either be left footing the bill yourself, or have to quit early exposing yourself to a higher risk of future injuries.

Ever heard the phrase, "properly structured" IUL?

What exactly does that mean?

The impression they give is that there's some secret sauce that only a few elite people know so that you'll only buy from them.

Now, don't get me wrong. Agents that don't know what they're doing, which there are more of than you might think, can definitely do a terrible job setting the client's policy up.

But it has less to do with the structure and more to do with the funding, education, purpose, and management of the policy.
