Hello Dancers Starting tonight, we are moving to offering an on-going class of Intermediate Nightclub 2-Step, aimed at building new repertoire and smooth execution. We look forward to having fun with this easier-to-learn and danceable social dance, giving you more steps to dance at community dances and other dance socials. Join us on Monday nights at 5:45 pm - drop-ins welcome, no partner needed. We will learn a new figure and sometimes two during each class, and review the basic skills needed for confidence on the dance floor. Wednesday nights at 5:45 & 6:55 will continue with a rotation of six-week workshops in the Ballroom dances, focusing on technique and foundational/intermediate elements of Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Viennese. Our new session, starting October 18, will focus on TRUE BEGINNER NC 2-STEP (5:45) and BEGINNING TANGO (6:55). WALTZ WORKSHOP
Here's a little run-down of what our beginners have learned in only five short weeks of WALTZ workshop! We are working on the last figure with our intermediate students. A new session of FOXTROT is starting in only one week: True beginners on Tuesday night, Oct. 29, 6:30-7:30, Intermediate/Advanced dancers on Saturday, Nov. 2, 1:00-2:00, and Accelerated beginners on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2:00-3:00.
