Thank you all so much! Here’s to another year of growth, connection, and self discovery ✨ Happy New Year 🥳
My next cupping class in Spokane will be Saturday January 27th, 2024 10am-2pm! I just got a bunch of new sets, and excited to test out a different company as well. I have several different types of cups that we will be practicing with. For this class we will be focusing mainly on safety and basic application as well as work on the back. I’ve created this as a short 4 hour class to make it accessible and better for different learning styles. The second class in this two class series will cover the extremities, session flow, and treatment ideas. Let me know if you have any questions!
I’ll also be offering an 8 hour class on Myofascial Balancing of the Shoulder in February so stay tuned for that announcement.
I’m also working on putting some classes together in Moses Lake, I’ll keep you posted thank you!
I had a couple of great conversations with both clients and colleagues over the last couple of weeks that really inspired and confirmed the direction I feel that I want to grow my practice. Working to uplift the overall health of our community by improving the health of individuals, through one on one treatment and in the future through saunas, soaks, and light therapy. As well as educating and mentoring other therapists, and empowering them to improve the health of those that they work with. Big things in the works, and happy with the process of building step by step 🙌🏽

When your business is helping people, “marketing”just doesn’t feel right most of the time. Which is why most of my content is focused on providing value and education. But as I grow as a business owner I’m realizing I just need to align myself with marketing opportunities that I can vibe with. Supporting our hometown team and being featured among other great local businesses is something I can be proud of!
On a mission to provide the highest quality therapy to Spokane, to help people move and feel better, and to help other therapists grow and thrive!
Back to school! I hope everyone is enjoying the transitions into fall and getting back into the school schedule 🍂 Being in school can be tough on the body, so it can be helpful to check in with your body and see if there are any adjustments that need to be made. Even the smallest change in the way you sit at your desk, or wear your backpack can make a big difference when it’s done everyday. I’ve also found that getting some movement, getting that blood flowing can help your brain and ease stress. Also, a simple strategy I’ve used for test taking is to meditate and clear you mind 15-30min before an exam (and/or the morning of), and I’ve found that this will help with the retention and recall of information. A lot of students and athletes come to see me to support their bodies during the season, to relieve myofascial tension and discomfort, as well as optimizing performance in their sport. Happy studying!

Speaking from both my own healing experience and helping others over the last for 14 years ✨A healing journey is a process and it can be frustrating, intimidating, and sometimes scary. I’ve found that it’s best to be patient, proactive, positive yet realistically grounded, and to trust the process. And most importantly, listen to your body and your intuition ✨

I’m Eddy Pace, LMT, CPT, owner/therapist/administrator of Flow: Massage and Fitness and I’ve been helping people through massage therapy and myofascial balancing for 14 years. I’ve also been studying fitness and have been a certified personal trainer for 6 years. My goal is to provide our Spokane community with the highest quality therapy and health education, in order to help people move and feel better. I specialize in holistic myofascial balancing, sports massage, injury recovery, and neck and shoulder issues. My long term goal is to grow my business into an education platform for both our community and other massage therapists, as well as build a multidiscipline wellness clinic with hydrotherapy, infrared, classrooms, and mentorship. As some of you know I’m also a busy musician and love to perform and share beautiful music. I truly believe that creativity, art, self care, and expression are important parts of any healing process.
My new business cards came in and they look great! It was a quick and temporary design but I ended up really liking it. Sometimes keeping it simple and not overthinking is the way to go 💯
Shout out to all of the keyboard warriors and phone rangers out there! As our world becomes more technologically advanced, we are faced with special challenges that come with it, such as extra tension in our bodies, especially but not limited to the upper body. For someone that works at a desk for most of their day, I always recommend setting a schedule to take small movements breaks, whether it’s a short walk or a simple circuit (i.e. squats, push-ups, lunges, yoga) to break up the long periods of sitting. You can also help manage a rigorous work schedule by using a combination of things such as movement, strength training, diet, good sleep, bodywork, massage, acupuncture, etc. One of my clients once told me that I was like the “neck whisperer,” which comes from years of experience and education. Working on the neck takes a combination of finesse, and a strong knowledge of the anatomy and movements of the neck. You’d be amazed at how being on a regular schedule of bodywork can improve your daily and work life.
My goal is to use my knowledge, skills, and experience to help you move and feel better 💯

Wholeness = Wellness ✨
Many of my clients are getting massive relief from our intraoral TMJ balancing sessions. These take approximately 15-30 min out of a session, so I usually recommend doing them in a 90 minute session, that way we have time to address and integrate the neck, back, and shoulders. Or it can be worked into a very focused 60 minute session of just the neck and jaw. I use gentle pressure and clean gloves in each session, because comfort and hygiene are very important to me. Make sure to reach out if you have any questions!
These last few years for me have been full of major changes and adaptations, I’m just happy that I’ve been able to hold on and stay steady. Now I have another unexpected change and announcement to make, I’m moving my office to the Rock Pointe Corporate Center, where I’ll be sharing an office and renting from . I’m very sad to be leaving and incredibly thankful for Shawna and Shea for helping me grow these last 4 years. I’ll be working very hard to keep you all updated and will be sending my clients directions on where my new office will be. Please reach out to me directly if you have any questions!

Getting in a car accident can be a stressful and painful experience that may limit your ability to work and do the things that you normally love to do. It’s important to get the care you need to recover faster and feel better so that you can get back to your life. Work with your doctor or a chiropractor as your primary health care provider to come up with a treatment plan for your road to recovery 🚗
As a parent I’m always trying to be a better person for my kids. There was one thing that I read a long time ago that really stuck with me, although it seemed counterintuitive at the time. It said that in order to be a good parent you must put yourself first. I think this concept can be hard at first for some people to embrace. Over the years this has really made an impact on me the more I realized how true it was. And then I learned how it is important in all relationships, not just as a parent. In order to be there for someone else, you must be there for yourself first 💯
Creating a culture of wellness in your business is not only good for everyone on an individual level, it’s good for business. Healthy people means happy people, and happy employees means happy customers 💯 Ask me how I can help you develop a wellness program in your business that will benefit everyone.
Athletes, optimize your physical performance in any sport with massage 💯 Improve movement, remove restrictions, and reduce injuries or speed up recovery 🏃🏽♂️
Steady and consistent progress is the key to achieving fitness goals without burning out and reducing the likelihood of injury 💪🏽 This is a big accomplishment for me doing 101 Steel Mace 360 Swings 20LB in one set! It’s taken me years of strength building and repeating this exercise, starting with a 7LB and 10LB mace, to get here. I love my steel maces from Onnit incredible design! And I wouldn’t have made it here without the inspiration from Esik Melland 🙌🏽 Whatever level you’re at just keep going and build week after week!
As body readers, we can’t help it. Always from a place of observation, not judgement. And don’t point, that’s just rude 😅
I’ve been teaching an introduction to cupping class at Elements South Spokane for several years now and we just held an awesome class yesterday! Thank you to all the therapists who took the class, you all did great. I love cupping!
I’ve always wanted to try using infrared therapy regularly, and I found this great business so that I can carry out my experiment. I plan on using their IR sauna 2-4 a month to start and see if I notice some results. They have a great facility and convenient memberships. The sauna I used today is a sauna which combines salt therapy and IR. I’m super interested in the health benefits of regularly using these and one day I hope to add these to my business. So I’m happy I can experience this at Slick Rock and their awesome businesses, thank you!
Some of you might know that on top of being a full time business owner and massage therapist, I’m also a busy musician. I’m really passionate about playing music and I play bass guitar in a few bands in town, River City Roots, Evergreen Afrodub Orchestra and most recently I joined Bruiser Music. Since I gig on most Fridays and Saturdays I won’t be available in the evening those days. However I have a lot of availability to schedule appointments throughout the week, usually 7 days a week and both mornings and evenings. When I have a weekend gig I will still be available Friday mornings until 2pm and Saturdays from 1-5pm. It’s really important to me to find a time that works for you, so if you’re having trouble finding a good time slot on my scheduling app make sure to reach out to me directly and we’ll find something that works for you! Thank you all so much!
