Recent Question: Can You Get a Thermogram with Breast Implants?
Our Response: Absolutely!
Many women with breast implants wonder if they can still have a thermogram. The good news is that you can! Thermography is a non-invasive imaging technique used to monitor breast health that doesn't involve radiation or compression, making it a safe, comfortable, and vital option for all women ages 20 and up – no matter the shape, size, prior disease diagnosis, surgical history, or configuration of your breast region.
Don’t hesitate to send us any questions or curiosities you might have about your individual situation – your concerns are our concerns, and we are here for you. You can comment below or send an email to [email protected].
How does thermography work? 🤔
The procedure uses infrared to track how the blood flows under your skin. This is important because many types of breast disease pool your blood together. While it’s not a 100% accurate scan, it does give you a better idea of your body and lets you make choices based on the knowledge. Added to regular breast exams, this gives you one more tool to help with managing the chance of developing breast cancer.

One of the concerns when it comes to risk assessment procedures for breast cancer is exposure to radiation. Luckily, thermography does not require radiation as it uses infrared technology instead. Apply for a grant today and experience it for yourself: https://beyondpink.net/grant-application/.
How does thermography help save lives? Thermography uses infrared technology to record temperature changes under the skin’s surface. This can create a “heat map” of your breasts and show any odd collections of blood and heat. This helps screen for breast cancer as cancer cells lump together and show up on the test. It’s another risk assessment tool to help you detect cancer early. The best way to survive cancer is early detection. By helping women detect early, thermography can help save their life!

Do you know if your bra is the right size? When you wear the wrong size, this can cause issues with your chest and breasts. Thermography is a non-invasive tool to help you detect breast cancer early. Using infrared imaging, the process tracks patterns of heat and blood flow throughout your body. What is the difference between thermography and mammography?
The main difference is that they look at different things. The thermogram is a physiological test, while the mammogram looks at the structure and anatomy of the breast. That’s why they work so well together; they are designed to test two different things.
Are you one of the 44% of women with dense breast tissue? Maybe you are - and no one has told you?
