Hello from Studio 1305.

I would like to wish all of my clients past and present, a most wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season. It has truly been a joy 🥰 for me to serve you over the many years of my long career. I’m so lucky to have a job that is not really a job, but a true passion. It is because of all of you…that I get to do the thing that makes me smile every day I’m behind the chair. That in itself is the very best gift.
I hope this coming new year, is one that draws you closer to friends and family, and also the things that make you happy.

Today was another super fun “before and after”. As long as I formulate for a red result, I was given free reign. This is my favorite thing to do when working with grey:) She also has beautiful blue eyes!!!

Today at On Broadway Salon, I had the privilege to do another transformation. So much fun. My goal was to correct her existing color (from a another salon), to a more cohesive place look without a lot of effort.

Parking On Broadway

Parking cost is covered by me. Just note the amount you pay, and I will deduct that amount from the cost of your service.

There is plenty of parking near the salon, but it's mostly paid. There are street meters and private paid parking lots.

Another before and after. Subtlety can speak volumes. In the before photo, you can see the amount of white she had. For the after photo, I foiled small amounts of her white hair with a very cool based darker tone, to reduce her white and add dimension. Her hair will grow out softly without showing a grow out line. Her existing color treated ends, still work with what we did on this initial visit.

Another pretty before and after. She had a vision, and was patient with me. She had a TON of hair even after the cut. Changes like this take time, so plan ahead for the best possible results!

Before and afters! Love them 😊. First photo shows a bob haircut I did, from a couple cuts ago. She has massively thick hair, and the new-do took me awhile. Second photo is the after, which she really wanted. The inspiration photo (last pic), is what we were going for. This lovely woman is always a pleasure to work with. Haircut changes are a collaboration of ideas, and a good consultation is important so that we both can try to be on the same page.
I am not perfect, and I don’t promise the moon and stars. However…I do try my hardest, to reach for them. 💇‍♀️ ✨💫

I enjoyed doing a beautiful mild corrective color today at Roots Salon. This lovely lady came to me with over lightened hair, and wanted to go back to her warm natural color of golden copper tones. I also gave her a much needed haircut.

On todays menu… a gorgeous Bob haircut!! I love it when a person is open to suggestion.

I did some corrective color today. She started out as a very brassy looking dark blonde all one color. I added more light, more dark, more tonal contrast. I also corrected her grey. Such a nice change from before. 

This was fun and a really nice change. I added depth and tone back into her overlightened ends, while adding a few fresh light pieces back into the top.

Hello everyone. I would like to thank all of you who have been clients of studio 1305 for the last 20 plus years. Thank you for your loyalty and belief in me as your hairstylist. I have enjoyed every moment of it and wouldn’t change a thing.
The time has come to move on, and I am now closed for business officially. My husband and I are moving out of Bellevue, WA.
I will NOT be taking my page down so that we can remain in touch if you have questions, or need my help in some way.
I wish you well in your hair futures, and have done my best to try and refer you to who I think are great hairdressers.

*Also I want to clarify that May 4th is when I can go back to work unless that changes. I will also begin rescheduling appointments at that time as well. Thank you again for your understanding.

A hairstylist friend of mine, posted this on his page. I share in these sentiments and hope you are staying well.
As things stand, the new mandate is now May 4th or longer. I remind you that I’m not scheduling appointments because of the changing time lines but will as soon as I’m given the go-ahead.
If your hair is driving you crazy, you now know what it feels like to grow it out. If your grey is showing, you now know what tones of grey you have. Just think of the “new look” possibilities that might be open to you the next time we get together.

Dear Clients of Studio 1305. Right now I am unable to successfully schedule your appointments due to our Governors mandate changing on a regular basis. Just know that I will take care of you when I'm given the green light to go back to work. In the meantime if you have questions about your hair, please reach out to me on my business email, and I will help you put a plan together until I can see you again. Thank you for your loyalty and patience as we all wait for this pandemic to be over.

Dear clients of Studio 1305. I have these two boxes of opened latex free gloves that I am unable to donate to the Coronavirus healthcare workers.
If you would like a pair of latex free gloves please message me and I will put a pair in a Ziploc (with my gloves hands) bag for you. If you know someone who could use a pair please mention this in your message. You can either swing by my studio or I can drop them off somewhere for you.
If you would like to leave a donation which is optional, that money will then be used as postage to send out to people that cannot leave their homes. This way we can all help each other. Be well and be safe. ♥️♥️

Dear clients of Studio 1305. As I write this message on Monday March 16th 2020, I am reminded of the many blessings we have in life. I believe this too shall pass. In the meantime the governor of Washington State has asked all beauty salons to be added to the band list and will be closed until the end of March. We will reach out to you to reschedule your appointments. Hopefully this move will keep us healthy and well. In the meantime, we will all buckle our seatbelts and see where this crazy ride takes us. ♥️
