Through swim lessons, your infant/toddler can drastically reduce their risk of drowning, build muscle strength and coordination, have better eating and sleeping habits, and increase their bonding/social skills. Hannah Griffin is our manager
She is a swim lesson instructor specializing in Foundations for Water Safety for toddlers.
Her favorite thing about working for BreakWater Is seeing kids progress and become more confident in the water. When she’s not working Hannah enjoys spending time with family and reading books.

Wendy Taylor is our owner. She teaches and coaches swimming at all skill levels from infants to competitive athletes. What she loves about teaching swimming is getting to see the confidence in both children and adults as they gain skills in the water. She says “Water can be a very scary place for a lot of people. But when they learn that they can do this, it helps them see that they can do anything.”

When Wendy isn’t at the pool, she enjoys being the Youth Group Coordinator at Christ’s Church of Deer Park, hitting the gym, watching The Great British Baking Show, reading, and spending time with her family.

Sweatshirt Orders We are creating sweatshirts that you can order for yourself and your student!! All sweatshirts are Navy Blue and printed with the Breakwater Swim Club logo on the front. These high quality sweatshirts run very true to size and are incredibly durable. Thank you all for your support.

Here’s a helpful hint to keep your kids motivated throughout the week. Take photos and videos of them during their swim lesson and then show them the photos and videos on days when they aren’t in the pool. The more they talk about swimming, the faster they will progress in their skill level. See you at the pool!
