When going blonde, it’s important to remember it’s a journey. Especially if you have preexisting color.
My best advice is to find a stylist you can trust and feel comfortable going to in order to get you to your hair goal.
Now accepting new clients so feel free to reach out and see me in Spokane!
A girl who’s scared of spiders but wants to have web designs 🤘🏻 way to embrace the fear!
This girl is on fire 🔥
We touched her roots with a 6RR and weaved a few throughout her hair to really bring out that dimension 🤌🏻
Taking her darker while adding ashy highlights!
This was a fun transformation using Shades EQ 6Nch with equal parts 5N and lightening with BlondeMe by Schwarzkopf toning with equal parts 09NA and 09P.
I know I should typically charge more but honestly, my happiness is just doing hair. So if you’d like to be a part of my passion (both hair and people), come see me! Look forward to talking to you!
So many ways to caption this…
She asked for warm colors and to surprise her and here’s the end result.
When you go from ash to red, you have to be mindful that you don’t cancel the blue/green and make brown. Here we did a red toner to eliminate the blues/greens and applied red on top of that using a 20 developer so it could lift and deposit. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.
From platinum to a warm golden brown. Remember…👇🏻
You HAVE to fill the hair before you go back to brown. When you lighten your hair so many times, you don’t have any pigment for the brown to hold onto. This, in turn, will cause your hair to look hollow and eventually turn green.
Remember what color your hair turned when trying to lighten? Most likely a yellow orange right? Well in order to allow the brown to grab into your hair and stay, you have to put that color back into the hair first. My go to is copper reds.
First time doing your hair can be scary! But it doesn’t have to be. Any good stylist should take a considerable amount of time talking about your goals with your hair, having you show us some inspirational photos and really hearing out your ideas and concerns. Let me help!
As a stylist, I am dedicated to you the minute you walk in the door until the moment you leave and thereafter. As soon as you are in my chair, you are family. You have the love and freedom to talk about whatever or not at all (we call these silent appointments). I’m here for your needs always!
Looking forward to seeing you beautiful!
I cannot stress enough the beautiful harmony that blonde has with low density hair. The darker the hair, the lighter your scalp looks and really accentuates the contrast.
we opted to go even lighter than the last session and it really made a world of difference in not only her hair, but her confidence. If you’ve ever experienced something like this, let me help you!
2024 is a time to step outside your comfort zone! Here’s how 👇🏻
Talk to your stylist about what would fit your skin tone best! Sometimes it may be outside your comfort zone but you’ll be surprised you might actually prefer it.
Gift yourself this year with a new look! Reach out to me or your stylist today. This is your call to reinvent yourself 🫶🏻
When it comes to low density hair, this is the secret 👇🏻
Do you get frustrated being able to see your scalp too easily? Believe me when I say, you are not alone and lucky for you, there are ways to help!
When you have dark hair at the roots and lower density hair, you tend to be able to see the scalp easily and it seems to get worse as your hair becomes oily, right? That’s where you want a hair color that come close to the color of your scalp so it doesn’t have as much contrast.
With this method, we chose to do all over highlight to help break up the dark and give it some dimension as well. On top of that, you can use dry shampoo at the roots when you’re hair is clean to give it a little more volume. Not only that, but as the hair starts to become oily, the dry shampoo will automatically absorb leaving your hair fresher longer.
My favorite go to dry shampoo would have to be the IKG brand. Just be mindful when buying and make sure to get one that suits your hair the best!
Copper Red 😍
Have you been thinking about going copper red? Well here is your reason for doing so.
After a much needed color change, this girl knew exactly what she needed. We brought up the blonde on her money piece and toned. We gave the rest of her hair a break from blonde and let her hair sit in this beautiful copper red for 45 minutes. Luckily, we chose a Demi permanent so we can easily go back to blonde in the future.
Lumishine 06CCR all over and 06RO in shades EQ for the bangs.

I’m so obsessed with this one! We were going for a block color and ended up with this rich beaut. Depending on the level you start with, you don’t really need to lighten beforehand. Sometimes a 20 developer will do the trick to lighten and deposit just fine.

We all love a good hair transformation. Here’s a favorite of mine coming back from the 80s… the mullet!
Peekaboo auburn for this babe! ✨
We pondered over this color for weeks trying to find something that would go well with the beautiful natural red she has 😍 i think we found it! This is a good color to keep up on and easy to manage. Using color extend shampoo and conditioner by Redken is my absolute fav.
FORMULA: Lumishine equal parts 4RR and 6VV.

Reds never go out of style 💯
For this color we mixed 2 parts 6RR and 1 part 7RC.
Taking care of color is so important. From getting the right shampoo and conditioner to the right leave ins, this can determine how long your color will last. Let’s not forget temperature of water you wash your hair with along with filtering the hard water from your shower 🙌🏻 little things make a huge difference.
Check out the before! This was 10 weeks in between sessions. When you book with me, you will get a quick education on your specific hair and what it needs. Message me for more details or to make an appointment.
I love a good full foil 😍
She wanted to soften the line of demarcation so we weaved some highlights and copper/red lowlights in with her natural. It’s definitely a vibe 🙌🏻
On a budget? Here’s how to care for your curls 👇🏻
First off, take notes 📝 because this will be the difference between frizzy dry hair and moisturized healthy curls.
📌 Sleeping with a silk pillowcase will actually reduce frizz and help with your curly hair. Why?? Because it doesn’t absorb moisture like other fabrics do so it keeps your curls feeling healthy and refreshed when you wake up!
📌 Using silk scrunchies. Yes, I said it. Scunchies. Whether it’s for smoothing out frizz, aiding hydration or reducing breakage, silk scrunchies protect your hair throughout your busy day and avoid the damage caused by conventional hair ties.
📌 Microfiber towels are a must! The texture of traditional towels creates friction and encourages frizz. You can avoid this with a microfiber towel, as its smooth surface avoids disrupting the cuticles and allows your curls to stay intact, resulting in less frizz.
📌 See your stylist for a trim every 3-6 months. The longer you wait to trim those ends, the more breakage you will have and there’s really only so much a good product can do for you.
Okay but also, CURLS NEED MOISTURE!! With that being said, what are you using for product? A good shampoo and conditioner is important yes! But so is a good after product. And fun tip, you don’t need to shampoo EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. You can just condition every other wash. Shampoo can be pretty drying and it’s not needed every wash.

I literally have the BEST clients! This is really just one scenario but once you are in my chair, you are my family, my friend and you’ll always feel heard 🫶🏻
Here’s what I love about a balayage 👇🏻
For clients who need a hairstyle with less maintenance, this is for you! The grow out is far softer because you don’t have any hard lines. So you could easily go 6 months without seeing your hairstylist. However, I do recommend stopping in every 8 weeks for a routine toning session to keep that brass from coming through.
Sure it might cost a little more but here’s why…
You are asking your stylist to apply a particular painting session to your hair. What I mean by that is, every head is different and every style is different. This takes more precision of application than you may think. Not only that, but product! Which unfortunately is getting more expensive.
Also, do your stylist a favor and lower your expectations just a little. If you were to ask a painter to duplicate a famous painting in history, could they do it exactly? Might come close but not perfect. We love a good balayage as much as the next person so just be kind when asking for what you are 🙏🏻 Not only that, but there are so many variations of natural colored hair that sometimes achieving that exact tone is impossible. Don’t hesitate to ask your stylist questions first, we love that!
Overall, we love and appreciate you as clients and want you to leave happy!
