expensive for client and salon both , time consuming , and you may not get your dream goal .
You may in time if your a good fit for goal .

💄At home hair care in and out of shower is a must !! fallowed to a T by your stylist .
💄I really hate purple 🔮 shampoo … it’s very drying and abused in clients hands .pain in my butt when it’s build up on hair . Hard to remove , takes time and $ in salon .

I prefer a violet pigmented deep conditioner instead only every 5 shampoos if needed to cancel light yellow out . If not use a regular prescribed professional deep conditioner instead .

💄 . Pinterest , fake lighting , at home indoor and out door lighting , camera tricks …. show so many different tones . Be realistic .
💄All color done at salon fades ,
💄all color takes differently on every head .

💄What I start out with on a client really is what makes the goal easy or not so easy and might not be vision .

Had great natural hair color . All I knew was she needed a foil . …. Been 6 months .
Issue : PURPLE SHAMPOO 😬😬.😩😩

It’s always overused , extremely drying .
I do not love the stuff in clients hands .it makes hair dry , build up in pigment

I had to remove it at the sink with a bleach color wash . Powder , shampoo 10 vol bond developer after I pretreated her . It lifted out fast section by section .
Post treated her then foiled cut & gloss tone .

violet gold was the goal . It’s her best tone warm cool vibes . Trim style . 4 hrs with consultation , 4 treatments , color remover , full foil + extra batch , gloss / tone trim ,style .
Next time 2 hrs 15 min will be time needed .

💄Stylist …..educate all your color clients and make them know you require pro hair hair at home in and out of the shower and why ….
They really appreciate this knowledge .
You don’t buy a new car and not maintain it .
Education is my fav thing ❤️

Did you know most drug/super store haircare has plastic in it? These petroleum based ingredients build up on the hair, weighing it down, clogging the follicles and suffocating the hair strands. Also ... this is not good when I color hair , improper color deposit because it lays on top of buildup ! Don’t even think a derp conditioner can help you if it’s blocked by this buildup . It won’t be able to touch the hair cuticle proper .
Like trying to paint with primer over a greasy kitchen wall ! It won’t work you have to deep clean it first with elbow greas and a stripper .
This is why your stylist “pushes” salon professional products on you. Because we actually DO care about the integrity of your hair, it’s not just to make a dime.

HAIR HISTORY 101: ORIGIN OF THE PIXIE CUT
It was London in the swinging 60’s when Vidal Sassoon’s phone rang and a good friend filming at Paramount Studios asked him if he would be interested in flying in to cut actress Mia Farrow’s hair for the press to drum up interest in his latest film, “Rosemary’s Baby”.

Vidal replied, “Roman, I did it about six weeks ago”. Director Roman Polanski responded, “Yes, but there’s always something to take off.”

And thus, hair history was made. Mia Farrow’s husband Frank Sinatra was appalled, Barbara Walters interviewed Vidal a few weeks later and gave him an award for “Making Women Look Ugly”. Nevertheless Mia Farrow’s pixie cut became a popular style throughout the 60’s, sold scores of movie tickets to “Rosemary’s Baby” and further catapulted Vidal Sassoon’s already successful career. Although Mia Farrow in 2012 informed the New York Times that she had in fact created the cut herself 2 years before Vidal shortened it from 1 ½ inch to 1 inch, it was Vidal who certainly popularized it.

Although the very first inventor of the style is lost to history, it became popular in the 1920’s and again in 1953 when Audrey Hepburn chopped her locks off to play Princess Ann in the movie, “Roman Holiday”. Following the uproar after Mia Farrow’s pixie debut, celebrities such as Goldie Hawn sported the look through the early 1970’s until long hair was back en vogue until Madonna lobbed off her long-blonde locks in 1986.

The timeless pixie haircut is for the gal who wants to get noticed. Winona Ryder rocked the look back in 1997; Victoria Beckham made headlines for hers in 2008; and Emma Watson's cut was so dramatic that she broke the news on Facebook!
