There’s a ton of tools for understanding a brand.
One of my favorites is the Voice Chart. And it’s even more fun to do when you have multiple representatives from the client in the room.
If we can get them arguing about how ‘Traditional’ or ‘Modern’ they are, it usually makes for the best conversations. And that’s where we really learn.
Another exercise you can do with the chart is to address where you are today - and be honest!! And then compare that to where you want to be, your aspirational voice.
