Introducing our June giveaway winner: Second Harvest Inland Northwest!

Our team sorted over 8,000 pounds of squash with a group of other amazing volunteers! Second Harvest hosts volunteers all day, 5 days a week. Volunteering and gifting money these last few months have been so rewarding. Dealing with food insecurity in our community is what Second Harvest focuses on and we are happy to be a small part of the solution.

Last night, we had the honor of donating a few raffle baskets to The Spokane County United Way - Emerging Leaders Society.

They had their annual Beers With Peers event. Our owner, Justin Reed, is the Chair of the Emerging Leaders Society. As a company, we are dedicated to helping the community thrive. For this reason, we always jump at the opportunity to donate to organizations in Spokane. We made 2 baskets for the event, a construction themed tool bag and a "day by the pool" cooler.

We are halfway through our charity giveaways for our 30th anniversary. Six more lucky customers will get to donate $300 to their favorite non-profit, one of which will get to donate a GRAND PRIZE to a lucky Spokane area charity.

So far, we have blessed Catholic Charities Eastern Washington , Meals on Wheels Spokane , The Spokane Humane Society, and coming up for the month of June, Second Harvest Inland Northwest!

Our office staff had a blast at the Spokane Humane Society last week. A huge thank you to our amazing customers, namely Thomas K, for picking an organization that makes a big difference in the lives of our furry friends!

Our 30-year anniversary celebration is still happening through December! We can't wait to find out who wins the June drawing so we can have another opportunity to help out a non-profit in our community.

The original siding on this home melted during the Medical Lake Gray Fire last summer. We are beyond grateful the house survived and that we were able to replace the siding to make the home even more beautiful than before.

A few weeks ago, we met with Meals on Wheels Spokane to deliver April's 30-year anniversary charity check!

Meals on Wheels is an amazing organization. They serve over 600 meals daily and over 180,000 per year. Each meal costs $5. With our $300 donation, they are able to serve 60 seniors in our community.

A huge thank you to Florence and Constance V for choosing such an incredible charity to support!

We had the opportunity to tour their facility and try our hand at meal delivery. The Spokane MOW is the only program in WA to have a senior center where seniors can eat and socialize with others. Four of our employees took the day to deliver 24 meals around town, it was incredible seeing the impact this organization has on our community first hand.

Our May drawing will be coming up soon! We can't wait to see which charity we can support next!

Reflect with us this Memorial Day on all the sacrifices the men and women of our military have made.

As many of you know, Greater American Construction is ran by the Reed family: Curt, Dyanne, Justin, and Miranda. Curt and Dyanne grew up with brothers, dads, grandparents, and other family in the Military, and now, their youngest, Miranda is married to an Airman who is serving overseas right now. We are thankful for all our loved ones who were able to come home and will never forget the sacrifice and bravery of those who didn't.

We are beyond grateful for bravery and selflessness that these heroes showed. We remember them every day and honor them as best we can.

We had a great time delivering our first 30-year anniversary check to Catholic Charities Eastern Washington earlier this week.

A big thank you to Jerry & Betty B for allowing us to complete their roofing project. They were the winners of the March raffle and chose Catholic Charities to donate $300 to.

March 9, 1994 was the first day Greater American Construction was incorporated in the state of Washington, serving the Spokane area.

Founder, Curtis Reed, started this business with the hope of providing superior workmanship with sustained customer service.

Wife, Dyanne Reed, joined in 2000 and elevated the business to new heights.

Now, thirty years later, and Greater American Construction operates in all of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

We would not have survived without the dozens of employees over the years who have provided the specialized workforce for our projects.
