𝓦𝓮𝓵𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮 to the Zag family, Krista Kostoff!

A two-time captain for Eastlake High School and three-sport athlete including basketball and track with All-KingCo nods across the board, Kostoff will arrive this fall to join the Zags!

𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙆𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙛𝙛: “We are thrilled Krista decided to be a Zag! She has been a multi-sport athlete her entire life who has proven she can win. Krista has all the intangibles we were looking for - hard-working, good teammate and a will to be a great volleyball player.”

𝓦𝓮𝓵𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮 to the Zag family, Gabby Vandal!

An Alberta-native, Gabby signs with Gonzaga after a senior season that saw Holy Trinity Academy earn the South Central Zone 4A title and advance to the 4A Provincial Championships in Calgary. She will arrive this fall!

𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙑𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡: “Gabby has an incredible opportunity for growth as a volleyball player. As an athlete who started playing the game relatively late, we are excited to see her continued development. Gabby has a burning desire to be great. We are looking forward to having her in the gym in the fall.”

𝓦𝓮𝓵𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮 to the Zag family, Kate Herrick!

An in-state signee arriving this fall, Kate joins Gonzaga after an incredible final season with Olympia HS, racking up a single-season school record 1,168 assists as the District Champion Bears placed third at state.

𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠: “Kate has proven herself to be one of the top setters in the state of Washington. She had a major injury her junior year, has overcome adversity and returned to lead her high school team to one of their best seasons in recent years. We are thrilled Kate chose Gonzaga.”

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! My time here at Gonzaga has been wonderful, but it is now time for me to head back to the North Pole.
