We can’t thank our doctors enough for treating our team and their families to a fun night out at the ball park. A Big Thanks to Dr. Hauck and Dr. Freuen for always going above and beyond for our staff and families. We are so grateful to work for such incredible doctors.

As Nurses Week comes to an end, we want to take a moment to thank our wonderful Nurse, Riley for all that she does for our patients and practice. We could not be more grateful for all of her hard work and dedication to SOS.

Last week our office volunteered for Wishing Star Foundation to help raise funds to make wishes come true for local children that have life threatening illnesses.
With the generosity of our community the Wishing Star Foundation raised over $70,000 to help make children’s wishes come true!
We are so grateful to be a small part of helping this amazing foundation and to help families and their children here in Spokane. Thank you Wishing Star Foundation for all that you do. We look forward to next year. 🐐

Inland Northwest Dental Conference 2024 was a great success!

We had the pleasure of volunteering at Project Beauty Share and with the help of our referring offices we were able to donate personal hygiene, cosmetics and beauty products to this amazing organization. Thank you so much to all of the offices that donated. We are so grateful to work with you and love helping out our community any chance that we can.

Project Beauty Share is a non-profit agency that provides personal hygiene, cosmetics, and beauty products to nonprofit organizations who serve women and families overcoming abuse, addiction, homelessness, and poverty to help restore hope and dignity in their lives. 💞

We are excited to announce that we have a new doctor joining our practice, Dr. Kyle Baird.
He is set to join the Spokane Oral Surgery team in July of 2024. Dr. Baird is a Spokane native who graduated from Mead High School. After high school, he spent two years on a service mission in Germany and Switzerland where he learned to speak fluent German. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in German Linguistics from Brigham Young University while also preparing for dental school.

Dr. Baird earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, graduating at the top of his class on 2019. He spent the next several years in Cleveland, Ohio completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Case Western Reserve University. As part of this dual degree program, he also earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree and completed a general surgery internship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

Throughout residency, Dr. Baird trained extensively in full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including general anesthesia and sedation, dentoalveolar & implant surgery, corrective jaw surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, facial cosmetics, pathology, and trauma & reconstructive surgery. His rigorous training prepared him with the skills to treat patients with a wide variety of dental and facial conditions.

Dr. Baird and his wife Sarah are excited to move back home to Spokane with their two daughters. They look forward to serving the community and enjoying the lakes and mountains of the Inland Northwest.

Congratulations to our surgical assistant, Jessica for taking first place with her special sweet western chili.

Dr. Freuen had an exciting week at the Envista Summit. He was able to listen to the leadership of FOR.org, Dr. Fabbri, Dr. Ferro and Dr. Birdi lecture and also had the pleasure of meeting one of the original developers of the X-guide, Dr. Emery.
With learning a ton of cutting edge information we look forward to implementing and growing our practice.

Congratulations to our Surgical Assistant, Kailee for becoming DAANCE certified! (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination) We are so proud of you and happy to have you as part of the SOS team!
