How well can you recognize pink eye (conjunctivitis)? It is a reddish inflammation of the white part (called the conjunctiva) of your eye. If you suspect someone in your home has pink eye, don’t share towels, pillows, or eye makeup until it’s resolved, as bacterial and viral pink eye are very infectious.
