Wow, it took us one week to go through all of our COVID-19 rapid antigen tests! We had a little trouble finding more tests, but, with some luck, we were able to find some that are a little more expensive. Antigen testing is still at-cost and is $15/test for our members!

Many people have left us a kind review of our services, but I want to write a review of our patients! Because the model of Direct Primary Care allows us to spend extended time with our members, we are allowed to practice "relationship-based medicine." Through this model of care I have been able to get to know some of the coolest and kindest people.

I've seen people persevere through very challenging medical conditions and triumph over hardship. I've seen generosity when they themselves are in need. I've seen unwaivering perseverance and a sure hope. Joy amongst trials. Hope amongst despair. A smile despite bad news.

Three years ago to the day Direct Primary Care opened our doors and saw our very first patient! Connor is a quadriplegic with a great eye for photography, taste buds to trust, and a missional heart to improve access by making the restaurant industry wheelchair-minded.

With an uptick in documented Covid 19 cases in our area, we decided to do a little research to preemptively help our patients in case they will need to be tested.
The Spokane Regional Health Department has a list of recommended testing locations, so we called and got as much information as we could from them on scheduling, pricing, and availability. Here is what we found!

Spokane Urgent Cares do free walk up testing. Drive to the location and call them and they will schedule them to be tested ASAP.
These are FREE tests with NO provider appointment needed.

"We got dropped in ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge)40 miles from the haul road in a DeHavilland Beaver. It was supposed to be a somewhat meandering walk out. We quickly learned that a late spring was rapidly melting and all our river crossings would be unsafe. Our only option with 2 weeks of time was to head to the headwaters of each river. So we climbed out of all the valleys and headed for the steep mountains of the continental divide. Our mileage became double what we expected and the trek was multiple times more hardcore than we intended. We survived!"
